I hope you are enjoying the summer of 2024! Like every year, summer seems to fly by much faster than the cold months of winter.
Looking back to this past June, I want to THANK everyone that came to Bloomington Gold; it was great to see you all! We seemed to have broken the rain pattern we experienced when we were in Indianapolis and replaced it with heat. For the second year in a row, we can boast the event was rain free, but it also came with record heat. This made for busy mornings at the Show as everyone was out to beat the heat.
In addition to attendees, thank you to all the car owners, vendors and our sponsors! If you were unable to make the event, we hope you enjoy the recap and photos on the pages that follow.
If you are looking to have your car judged soon, we are offering two opportunities: Dallas this September and Kissimmee in January. Both events are certification only, but are held during Mecum auctions, giving attendees the opportunity to spend time after judging to attend the auction.
If you are at Carlisle later in the month, please feel free to stop by our tent on the Midway; it is always fun to see you!

Note: This event is a judging event only. There are no vendors or displays, However, the Mecum Dallas Auction will be in full swing offering over 1,500 cars to look at and bid on. The auction also has car-related vendors.
Owner check-in and judging will take place at the Omni Dallas, which is connected to the Kay Bailey Hutchison Convention Center, the location of the Mecum Dallas Auction.

The theme of the 2024 Gold Collection was the Corvette Fuelie. And, Bloomington Gold was able to unite, for the first time ever, all four Gulf Oil Racers to be on display in one room at the 2024 event. These were just 4 of the 28 legendary cars that were on display.
Year after year Bloomington Gold compiles a collection of rarely seen, highly historical cars in one room for one weekend. This is an opportunity that does not happen in a museum and can only be experienced at Bloomington Gold.

The Purpose of Bloomington Gold President’s Award:
To recognize individuals who have made outstanding contributions to Bloomington Gold Corvettes including for the sake of the sport and organization often foregoing notoriety for themselves or their business.
Anyone that knows Terry, is proud to call him a friend.
With over 36 years of judging experience at Bloomington Gold and an even longer judging history with the NCRS, Terry does what he can to better Bloomington Gold and the Corvette Community. In addition to judging, he has had several of his cars invited to be part of different Gold Collections, including his C8 that he picked up from the factory and hauled straight to Bloomington Gold to be displayed in the 2023 Gold Collection.
