UPDATES! TRACK OFFICE RELOCATED FOR 2016 The track office will relocate 100 feet south of the 2015 location to the first suite in the Legends Row Suite line. By moving, track office staff will be able to help multiple participants at one time, which will keep the line moving. Also for 2016, participants will be able to read the IMS waiver online prior to arriving to the Show. However, the waiver will still need to be signed by each driver at the Show, in the presence of a track office employee. Lastly, there will be an express check in line for any GoldMember that pre-registers for driving activities. HURRY! Donâ€™t forget that BOTH drivers and passengers must sign releases at the track office. Pre-registration closes June 1st. To review the waiver online, go to Driving Events at BloomingtonGold.com.

THE STORY BEHIND “BLOOMINGTON ON THE BRICKS” This year’s Official Art for Bloomington Gold celebrates the Award Ceremony for the famous Bloomington Gold Corvettes event. When Bloomington moved to the Indianapolis Motor Speedway in 2015, I wanted to create a painting that would reflect the new location at the track, as well as the famous Bloomington Gold Corvette Certification awards. I came across a photo that had Guy Larsen, Owner of Bloomington Gold, kneeling on the famous IMS bricks, leaning toward the driver of a 1963 convertible with the background setting of the famed Gasoline Alley. Onlookers line the stairs and other Corvettes line up for their awards. I immediately knew this was the moment I wanted to capture.

HAVE YOUR CAMERA READY!

This year’s road tour will again start with a memorable lap around the Indianapolis Motor Speedway’s historic 2.5 mile oval track. Upon leaving IMS, the tour will head north along beautiful Eagle Creek Reservoir to one of the largest city parks in the nation, Eagle Creek Park. After doing a 3-mile loop among the trees and beauty of Eagle Creek Park, participants will head west across Eagle Creek Reservoir. The Reservoir is known for its NCAA Rowing courses, sailing and fishing. The road tour will then head back towards IMS completing the 20-mile course. All participants must have a green road tour windshield sticker on the driver’s side of their car. Participants will receive a sticker upon signing the appropriate waivers at the Bloomington Gold Track Office. You can pre-register for the GoldTour online up until June 1st. The first 500 cars registered will receive a free 2016 commemorative GoldTour plate. • You must have a Green Road Tour Windshield Sticker on the Driver’s side of your car • Sign an IMS track Release to participate. Sign up is at the track office • Please follow the directions of our staff and police for a safe and enjoyable road tour • Follow as close to the car in front of you as you feel comfortable so we don’t have large gaps • 4:45pm Road Tour participants to their cars • 5:00pm Staging for the Road tour starts • 6:00pm Road Tour begins • The road tour begins with one lap around the track
