Bloomington Gold is next week….are you ready? We have a great event planned this year and based on pre-ticket sales, we expect a record crowd. In addition to all of the Events that make Bloomington Gold the great weekend it is, we have added a few more attractions this year, which you will find through out this edition of the REView. If you don’t already have tickets, it is not too late. You can buy them online and print them at home, or of course, buy them at the gate. And if one Bloomington Gold Event isn’t enough, we are excited to announce we are adding a limited addition Event this fall! In conjunction with Rick Hendrick City Chevrolet and Queen City Corvette Club, Bloomington Gold will be part of their All Chevy Charity Car Show in Charlotte, North Carolina October 14th & 15th! LEGENDS ROW RAFFLE How does $250 cash in your pocket sound? Or maybe you prefer to LEAD the Gold Tour! Stop by the vendors along Legends Row and Gasoline alley and get a raffle ticket from any or ALL of them. Drop them in the raffle box in the GoldStore by 3:00 each day and you could win $250 Cash! Drawings will be held daily at 3:00 at the Beer Garden in Legends Row. Saturday’s raffle will be a chance to lead the Gold Tour later in the afternoon.

LEGENDS ROW TRIBUTE TO ONE-OWNER AND BARN FIND CORVETTES Come to Legends Row to see this display of amazing ‘One -owner Corvettes’ 40 or more years old and ‘Barn Find’ Corvettes ! The display is very limited with only a few Corvettes meeting the criteria. Some of the Corvettes in this First Time Bloomington Gold display include: • A 1965 Corvette, unrestored 1970 LT1 Corvette Coupe • Survivor 1970 LT1 Corvette Coupe • 1963 ZO6 Tanker Fuelie Split Window, 1966 427 Corvette Convertible And many more! Come see these Vettes and hear the stories from the original owners. It’s not to late to join-in! If you have a 40+ year old Vette you bought new, you can still participate in this display. Any car that has tickets in hand will be able to take advantage of express check in lanes. So, avoid ticket lines and print your tickets ahead of time by going to BloomingtonGold.com

NEED ASSISTANCE WHILE AT THE SHOW? The Information Tent will be located at the corner of 6th and Myers and be able to answer any questions you may have. You will also go here to pick up your ScoreCard as well as a detailed map of the Event at the Info Tent.

A NOTE FROM VISIT INDY: As Indianapolis looks forward to hosting Bloomington Gold Corvettes USA, the city is gearing up to host more than 175,000 visitors for another monumental weekend over June 24-26th. Like with the Indy 500, NCAA Final Fours, and other large conventions, the city is set up to host major events. With the number of special events planned and influx of visitors anticipated in Indyâ€™s downtown core, we encourage you to allow for extra travel time to and from your hotel and the airport. Please be aware of the potential for street closures, limited parking availability, and increased travel times. We also encourage you to plan ahead for meals, as you may experience longer waits at restaurants. Planned guests include more than 200 elected officials from around the country, international dignitaries, and Olympic athletes. 2016 GOLDTOUR

HAVE YOUR CAMERA READY!

This year’s road tour will again start with a memorable lap around the Indianapolis Motor Speedway’s historic 2.5 mile oval track. Upon leaving IMS, the tour will head north along beautiful Eagle Creek Reservoir to one of the largest city parks in the nation, Eagle Creek Park. After doing a 3-mile loop among the trees and beauty of Eagle Creek Park, participants will head west across Eagle Creek Reservoir. The Reservoir is known for its NCAA Rowing courses, sailing and fishing. The road tour will then head back towards IMS completing the 20-mile course. All participants must have a green road tour windshield sticker on the driver’s side of their car. Participants will receive a sticker upon signing the appropriate waivers at the Bloomington Gold Track Office. You can pre-register for the GoldTour online up until June 1st. The first 500 cars registered will receive a free 2016 commemorative GoldTour plate. • You must have a Green Road Tour Windshield Sticker on the Driver’s side of your car • Sign an IMS track Release to participate. Sign up is at the track office • Please follow the directions of our staff and police for a safe and enjoyable road tour • Follow as close to the car in front of you as you feel comfortable so we don’t have large gaps • 4:45pm Road Tour participants to their cars • 5:00pm Staging for the Road tour starts • 6:00pm Road Tour begins • The road tour begins with one lap around the track
