Biosphere Reserve Vindelälven-Juhttátahkka

Large parts of Västerbotten are part of the Vindelälven-Juhttátahkka Biosphere Reserve. What is that you may ask? The area has been designated by UNESCO as a model area for sustainable development. This means that there is valuable nature and culture here, and that people work together to find solutions to make people and the environment get along better.

We are proud to be in one of only a few biosphere reserves in Sweden!
