Our Mission Welcome to GoldFoil Magazine - A place where the community we build is at the centre of everything we do and stand for. Here we leave our labels and unite under the same cause - to inspire and showcase our work. As creativity knows no language barriers, borders, orientation, or skin colour, at GoldFoil Magazine, we believe that everyone deserves a place on the creative stage where under a spotlight they can perform their art, be it fashion, digital design, journalism, performance arts, photography, or drag; we are here to show you and help you tell your story.

y work is trying to capture the in-between states of creative processes through the drawn line. I aim to strike a balance of aesthetics: representing different angles which are neither complete nor unfinished, building and expanding line, imitating a sculpture-like form that could be. I’m influenced by absence, intersections, fluidity and the in-between space. Capturing a changing object/ mass, perhaps neither forming nor dissipating, maybe they are unaware of its current state. Am I in the process of becoming or potentially something that has already become? - A growth of unknowing.
The being of art is though a mechanical ocular and as such my work approaches the reset on the interplay of what was originally forged and what is digitally fabricated and consequently creates on a new ontology, existing somewhere between the organic and empirical and the digital. During the transition stages and the creation of the composition, an element is changing into another, it’s conveying a new form and may be losing its original use? I have been intrigued by the edges of objects as they interject, by simplifying shapes and
A minimalist approach attempts to demonstrate clarity by portraying the in-between states/phases. Only the necessary aspects are included in the compositions taking into careful consideration the use of negative space to enrich the quality of line, aiming to not distract or disrupt the composition by purely filling in “space”. Demonstrating these ideas through the processes of drawing and sculpture creates its own essential

abstraction and that fragility and rigidity can simultaneously exist. My practice frequently uses a selection of materials such as metal, chalk and foam in a range of media from digital drawings to tapestries and sculptures, using a reduced colour pallet typically monochrome.

Foundered by Zachary Laidlaw, this brand has been launched with careful attention to detail with a focus on business, fashion and lifestyle prosperity with the modern, empowered individual in mind. House of Laidlaw caters for the different, daring, deviant and decadent. Offering a feeling of opulence and sensuality combined. To embrace the different and deviant as an expression and to evoke emotion through fashion. This is to depart from usual or accepted paths, especially in social or seductive behaviour.
Having a conceptual eye for design and being able to see the bigger picture from sketch to production, allows Zach to create design that is functional yet unique and forward-thinking. His creativity combined with ambition gives him an edge of pushing the limits and achieving excellence.

I got into modelling via networking, as I am a freelance makeup artist and I work along side various models, photographers and designers. I’ve always been told that it was something I should get into, so I finally tried. My stepdad is also a photographer so I used to shoot sometimes. I enjoy modelling and I become more confident each time I shoot.

She gained experience and an opening to the world by living in several cities by the age of 17. Currently based in London, she decided to quit her job and finally spread her wings by creating her own brand. Seashell is born from her love for being stylish at the beach. It is here to remind you of the fresh summer breeze wherever you are. Every little accessory can make a difference - from a bookmark, to a coverup, every item is uniquely designed with attention to detail.
