The idea for the initial skate park upgrade was credited to Harley and former resident Max Love, who wanted to see improvements at their local skate park. The upgraded skate park design was presented to Council, who successfully advocated to the Victorian Government to make a commitment to the project.

The Meredith Multi Playspace is a partnership project, funded by $420,000 from the Victorian Government and $480,000 from Council.

For any community members who are unable to visit Council’s Customer Hubs, Council’s Customer Experience team will help make arrangements to have RATs delivered.

The team can also be found at the Golden Plains Farmers’ Market in August & September where RATs will be available to the community. For more information or to learn more about how you can access RATs across the Shire, please contact Council’s Customer Experience Team on 5220 7111.
