Golden Plains Shire Council is hosting a series of activities for young poeple aged 12 to 25 years thoughout the June school holidays, with activities running across Golden Plains from Tuesday 26 June until Thursday 6 July.
The free school holiday activities are a fantastic opportunity for young people to come together and enjoy fun, engaging activities while connecting with their peers and other young people in the Shire.
There are a range of activities on offer, including a movie afternoon at the Bannockburn Cultural
Council is inviting residents in Lethbridge to have their say on the proposed relocation of the public toilet block at Lethbridge Lake.
The relocation project will see the removal of the current toilet block, and installation of a new toilet block and septic system at a proposed new location in the vicinity of the current location, at the entrance to the Lethbridge Lake car park.
Public consultation opened on Monday 22 May and residents are invited to have their say until 9am, Monday 12 June by visiting goldenplains.vic.gov.au/consultations
Centre, robotics at Corindhap Hall, arts and crafts activities, tie dying in Smythesdale and zine making at Inverleigh Bowls Club.
All holiday programs are inclusive and will be supervised by staff from Council’s Youth Development team.

KINDER ENROLMENTS ARE OPEN
If you have a child who’s turning three in 2023, now is the time to start thinking about enrolling them in a three-year-old kindergarten program in 2024. The Victorian Government has made kindergarten programs free for three and four-year-old children up to $2,500 per year, per child. Free kinder is a critical component of the State Government’s Best Start, Best Life reform.
