The inaugural Golden Plains Careers Expo kicks off tomorrow, Saturday 24 June, at the Bannockburn Cultural Centre from 10am until 3pm.
Connecting young people to their dream career, the Golden Plains Careers Expo aims to advance the learning and employment outcomes for young people in Golden Plains.

Young people will have the opportunity to chat with a diversity of education and work pathways providers and speak to industry professionals attached to universities, skills and training institutions and local industry and employers.
Council is currently developing a Draft Growing Places Strategy, a long-term plan to leverage the benefits of population growth for our Shire, while at the same time protecting our diverse mix of rural and urban townships for the future.

We invite you to come along to one of our Growing Places Information Sessions to hear more about Council’s draft plan for where more housing could go between now and 2050.

Presented by Golden Plains Shire Mayor Cr Brett Cunningham, special guest speakers will take part in a panel discussion where they will provide insight into specific career pathways and share their experiences.
Guests are also invited to enjoy food and refreshments with live entertainment from the Bannockburn College P-12 Senior Band.
