By joining Council Committees, you can make a meaningful impact, influence the design and delivery of community initiatives and programs, while identifying advocacy issues.

EOIs for the Arts, Culture & Heritage Advisory Committee are open until 5pm, Wednesday 4 October and can be made online at goldenplains.vics.gov.au/consultations

parenting adolescents

Bringing Up Great Kids: Parenting Adolescents is a six-week supportive program for parents with children aged 10 to 18 years.

This is a reflective, mindful, respectful program that provides parents with an opportunity to reflect on parenting their adolescents. The program provides a friendly and safe environment for parents to learn from each other as they continue their parenting journey.

Program content supports parents and carers to learn more about the origins of their own parenting style and how it can be more effective while exploring new ways of communicating with adolescents.

Delivered by Meli, the Bringing Up Great Kids: Parenting Adolescents parenting program is free to join and the six weekly sessions will be hosted at the Bannockburn Cultural Centre, 27 High Street, Bannockburn commencing on Tuesday 17 October 2023, from 5:30 to 7:30pm.
