Golden Plains Shire Council has developed a concept design of the Bannockburn Skate Bowl to be constructed as part of the second stage of the Bannockburn Skate Park upgrade project.

Prior to the first stage of the Bannockburn Skate Park upgrade, Council undertook consultation with the community, in which residents highlighted the need for a skate bowl and following the announcement of funding from the Victorian State Government in October 2022, Council has worked to develop the concept design.

The second stage of the Bannockburn Skate Park upgrade project will extend the current skate park to cater to intermediate and advanced skaters, while providing a space for young people in the Shire to stay active, healthy and engaged.

The Bannockburn Skate Park has become a popular

community facility and Council is delighted to now be able to extend the park to include a skate bowl that caters to more intermediate and advanced skaters.

The concept design is available on Council’s website and Council invites the community to view and provide feedback on the concept design, with feedback open from Wednesday 19 April until 9am, Monday 1 May, 2023

The grant writing workshops will also introduce attendees to the Grant Finder system which
