INSIDE INSIDE CAREER CAREER PATHWAYS PATHWAYS Career Pathways is a free workforce readiness program designed for 16–19-year-old teens who are exploring their next steps after graduation. Whether pursuing college, a career, or both, teens gain the opportunity to discover their strengths, build confidence, and explore new interests, with a focus on technology-driven fields. Participants are selected through an inclusive application process, based on ability to commit, adaptability, and openness to new experiences. This creates meaningful opportunities for teens from all backgrounds to engage in hands-on learning, collaboration, and civic engagement. They gain monumental skills for their future and prepare themselves for success.

PROGRAM PROGRAM EXPECTATIONS EXPECTATIONS Time Commitment (October – May) · Participate in weekly 2-hour sessions · Attend one Saturday workshop per month · Complete a 120-hour paid summer internship Participant Responsibilities · Demonstrate a willingness to learn, grow, and try new things · Attend a fall introduction session (student + one parent/guardian)
YOUR YOUR PATHWAYS PATHWAYS JOURNEY JOURNEY August – September: Recruitment & Application Participants apply and are selected through a merit-based process. October – December: Self-Exploration Participants build critical thinking skills, explore personal values, develop mission statements, and form strong connections through team-building exercises. January – April: Entrepreneurship Project Phase Participants collaborate to build a community-driven social awareness campaign rooted in causes and issues they care about, channeling their collective skills into creative outcomes across visual art, digital media, and community outreach, all working toward a shared purpose. April – May: Workforce Development Students prepare for the professional world through resume building, mock interviews, workplace skills, and professional headshots. June – August: Paid 120-hour Summer Internship We provide access to professional level internships in industries aligned with participant interests. *We are actively seeking internship hosts*
ENTREPRENEURSHIP ENTREPRENEURSHIP PROJECTS PROJECTS Each year, participants collaborate to design and launch a community-based social awareness campaign focused on real-world challenges, such as: Equi-Table: A Generational Storytelling campaign through shared family traditions and food. Se El Saber (“Be the Knowledge”): A social-issue campaign addressing mental health, immigration, and the environment. Project Perennial: A collective of young changemakers rooted in the preservation of the environment through community outreach, art, media, and upcycled fashion.

GOLD CROWN FOUNDATION Founded in 1986, Gold Crown Foundation serves over 18,000 youth annually through sports, enrichment, and health and wellness programs. We create safe, inclusive, and affordable spaces where kids can grow physically, mentally, and socially on and off the court. GOLD CROWN ENRICHMENT The Clubhouse is a free, drop-in after-school program where youth ages 10–19 explore STEM and the arts. In a safe, inclusive space, members learn by designing, guided by their own curiosity and interests. By building community together, young people develop skills to meet workforce demands, take ownership of their learning, and gain the confidence to shape their futures.
