Celeste Humphries

Ash Barty and Celeste Humphries – Taken with the newly retired Ash Barty who was at that stage still the No. 1 ranked player in the world. I am forever thankful for my photography career and the opportunities to meet superstar and nice humans such as Ash. A massive thank you to the lovely ladies at @esmiskinminerals for having me along to capture such a special event.

Rachael Poeppmann and Keith Urban – I’ve met so many celebrities across my work life but this meet and greet I actually won. I am a member of Keith’s fan club, yes I’m a definite Keith tragic, and the club had a comp for a meet and greet which I won! It was during his ‘Light the Fuse’ tour in 2014. He was so generous with his time, so patient and lovely, and still to this day I remember how good he smelt when I got a hug. I also had a massive crush on Keith’s guitarist on that tour. I sat front row with three of my cousins and also walked away with their set list and numerous guitar picks. Best concert experience eve and I’ve still got the picks! Dale Olsson

Lisa Lees Lisa Lees and Rob Thomas – So, what do you do when you go backstage at the Sydney Entertainment Centre to meet the lead singer of arguably the biggest rock band in the world at that time? You talk weddings. Yes, that’s me and Matchbox20’s Rob Thomas in 2000 talking about my upcoming nuptials. I was months away from marrying Mal Lees and he was newly married to his ‘Spanish Mona Lisa’, the delightful Marisol who also joined the conversation. Dale Olsson and Sharyn Ghidella – This photo was taken at a lunch at Tattersalls Club Brisbane on International Women’s Day. Sharyn is a 7NEWS presenter, who was the MC on the day. She was so lovely and easy to talk to and I love watching her read the news.

Mel Keegan and Beau Ryan - Beau was one of the judges for Fashions of the Field at Doomben where I placed runner-up. He was so down to earth and very funny. Had time to talk to everyone and took selfies with anyone who asked. Just a great Aussie bloke and wonderful to know that his personality didn’t change from his TV persona. His wife was equally lovely too.

Ali Plath and Dave Hughes – I met Dave “Hughesy” Hughes when he came to the radio station. He was in town doing some shows for the Spiegeltent and he did his show from our studios. He’s a massive table tennis fan and was keen for a few games, so of course I volunteered. We ended up playing table tennis and I beat him, hence the "No. 1" finger from me and "No. 2" for him. He took the defeat like a perfect sportsmen, and it will go down as one of my favourite sporting victories.

Hugh Jackman and Jessica Sharratt - This is one of Hugh Jackman and me outside the theatre in NYC when he was playing Peter Allen in ‘The Boy from Oz’. It was minus 32 degrees and my Dad (Paul Sharratt) knew one of the producers so we got to spend some time with Hugh who was really lovely.

Katrina and Luca Sanguigno with Venus Williams – My husband Luca loves tennis and has won many trophies. This was taken at the Australian Open in Melbourne with one of the greats of the sport, Venus Williams. She was so lovely, nothing was too much trouble and chatted away happily to us. Such a great tennis player, so very tall and a wonderful ambassador for the sport. Katrina Sanguigno

Paula Duncan with Nicole Daley – This was taken at the Gold Coast Turf Club for the charity race day raising funds for Ronald McDonald House. It is called the Red Boot Race Day after Ronald’s big clown shoes and 5th Avenue Jewellers, our family jewellery business, is the main sponsor of the day which raises money to help the families of seriously ill children in hospital. Paula was one of the celebrities who supported the day. She was so lovely and I am a huge fan of hers through her many roles on television. She is showing off a set of pearls which we loaned her for the day.
