WELCOME Take a trip down memory lane and reminisce in the feelings of young love in a place that is unique to your history. For many of you, Miami University is a place that you are able to hold in your mind and heart, but do not get to see very often. With your partner, use the Merging Memories Tour to revisit the part of you that you have not forgotten, the part of you that has made who you are today.

The self-guided tour is broken up into three sections: sightseeing, dining, and nightlife. Within each section, you will have different locations in which to choose. Each place will have a prompt that will help you merge old traditions with the new.

After completing each section, you have the opportunity to write in this booklet about memories that you have from the past at specific locations and the new memories that you have created during this tour.

Enjoy, relax, and have fun discovering Miami once again.

SIGHTSEEING In the first section of the tour, take time to explore some of Miami University’s traditions as you head Uptown. Think about when you were in college and the stories that you have had in the same location. Even though years have gone by, these landmarks have remained the same.

APPETIZER OPTION 1 If you are feeling a little cheesy, order an appetizer of mac bites for half of the price.

APPETIZER OPTION 2 Order a beer tower, sit at a picnic table, and share it with of-age students.

DINNER OPTION 1 Design a new bagel combo to receive a bagel for free! Bonus points if you create the artwork for your new bagel to hang in the shop.

DINNER OPTION 2 Load up on the dough at Bruno’s Pizza.

If you order a whole pizza, you will get an order of Bruno Balls for free.

NIGHTLIFE This is sadly the last and final section of the tour.

However, it is up to you to make it the best it can be! You may choose to party it up at CJ’s or relax and unwind at You’re Fired. Whatever you choose, be sure to live in the moment, enjoy the experience, and make lasting memories.

NIGHTLIFE OPTION 1 Sign both of your names and the year that you were married on the wall.

NIGHTLIFE OPTION 2 Pick a ceramic piece and paint it with words or images that reveal your memories at Miami.

NOTES Hope you both had a fun night! When you have a chance, write about what you did and who you met during the nightlife section of the tour. Compare it to your nights out when you were a student at Miami.
