But being forced to sell a unique and sophisticated show in a piecemeal and inefficient way through email while having to resort to a variety of tactics to wake up a thoroughly unresponsive party that cannot even toss a few outrageous questions in an obvious attempt to dissuade is just too much of a handicap for even the best salesman, which I unabashedly consider myself to be one of. Between you and Tim Alp this will be my ninth attempt to initiate the most preliminary kind of discussion without being accorded the courtesy of a simple rejection. For a man as successful as you are Mr. Burnett, you are being a poor sport in the game of idea pitching and negotiation, a game you and the big boys play every day, but which I have just taken up for a lone and noble purpose. Show some game and lob me a couple of your toughest questions. Give me something to work with. Ask me to explain how I know Team Gamera's machine has virtually no chance of meeting the Sikorsky Prize criteria with their current design. Ask me why I have not built my machine already if I am so certain it will work. You could ask me why I haven't simply approached other production companies, but then you already know the answer to that question.

Ask me anything. MacArthur
