It is a rare privilege to shape an entirely new chapter of a landscape as elemental and untouched as Triple Bay, and an honour to share the results with those who understand the ambition, precision and long-term vision required to deliver a project of this scale.
This summer marks the opening of Four Seasons Resort and Residences Amaala at Triple Bay, the culmination of years of work within Red Sea Global’s visionary AMAALA development on Saudi Arabia’s Red Sea coast. For us, it has been a journey defined by devotion to place, the discipline of craftsmanship, and a constant dialogue between landscape and luxury.
From the outset, we sought to honour the raw, elemental beauty of Triple Bay, its mineral geology, shifting desert light and vast horizons, while creating interiors that embody the sophistication and warmth expected of Four Seasons. Working within the wider ambitions of Red Sea Global’s regenerative tourism vision, we developed Touched by Land, a design narrative rooted in tactility, contrast and craftsmanship, and wove it through every guest touchpoint across the resort.
The result is a destination that feels both deeply of its landscape and unmistakably Four Seasons: an arrival sequence anchored by hand-carved travertine columns and celestial lighting; guestrooms and suites shaped around warm timber, natural stone and woven detailing; and a spa organised around a dramatic circular pool that turns wellness into an immersive journey through material, light and sound.
Designing the private villas and residences alongside the hotel allowed us to extend this narrative even further, into homes that balance privacy, comfort and a profound sense of place in equal measure.
Above all, this project reflects our belief that luxury hospitality today is about connection: between guest and destination, craftsmanship and comfort, land and experience. We’re incredibly proud to see this landmark destination now open its doors.
