Tourism remains a powerful economic engine for Daviess County, generating millions of dollars in visitor spending and supporting jobs throughout the community. According to the 2025 Economic Impact of Tourism report commissioned by the Kentucky Department of Tourism, visitors spent $262.9 million in Daviess County, helping strengthen local businesses and enhance the quality of life for residents. That spending supported 2,034 jobs across a variety of industries, including lodging, restaurants, attractions, retail, transportation, and entertainment. Tourism also generated $61.4 million in labor income, providing meaningful employment opportunities and contributing to the local economy.
In addition to supporting jobs and businesses, tourism generated $20 million in state and local tax revenue. These tax dollars help fund essential public services and community improvements, reducing the tax burden on local residents while helping maintain the amenities that make Daviess
