KYWC Architects was founded in 1995 by Seunghoy Kim in Seoul, South Korea. With the first projects, they wanted to experiment with different types of architecture in schools, hospitals, churches, offices, and public clinics. One project led to another as if it were a sequence. Since then, Seunghoy Kim and his team have gained a worldwide reputation for their approach and KYWC’s work has been exhibited and published around the world, receiving numerous awards. Recent projects include the Munhakdongnae Publications Office, Ewoo School, World Jewelry Museum, Buyeo Resort, Youngdong Church, Jungsun Health Center, Ewha Girls Secondary School of Foreign Languages, Jung Clinic, Jung Clinic, Soyul, Place J, and Seoul Design Masterplan.

Die KYWC Architekten wurden 1995 von Seunghoy Kim in Seoul, Südkorea, gegründet. In ihren ersten Projekten wollten sie mit verschiedenen Arten von Architektur in Schulen, Krankenhäusern, Kirchen, Büros und öffentlichen Kliniken experimentieren. In natürlicher Folge führte ein Projekt zum nächsten. Seitdem haben Seunghoy Kim und sein Team einen weltweiten Ruf für ihren Ansatz erworben. Die Arbeiten von KYWC wurden weltweit ausgestellt und veröffentlicht und erhielten zahlreiche Auszeichnungen. Zu den jüngsten Projekten gehören das Munhakdongnae Publications Office, die Ewoo School, das World Jewelry Museum, das Buyeo Resort, die Youngdong Church, das Jungsun Health Center, die Ewha Girls Secondary School of Foreign Languages, die Jung Clinic, das Soyul, der Place J und der Seoul Design Masterplan.

Kokaistudios est un cabinet d’architecture et de design d’intérieur fondé en 2000 à Venise par les architectes italiens Filippo Gabbiani et Andrea Destefanis. Basé à Shanghai depuis 2002, il est devenu une entreprise multiculturelle primée de 60 personnes travaillant sur des projets en Asie, au Moyen-Orient, en Europe et en Amérique du Nord. Kokaistudios s’associe à ses clients pour développer des projets innovants dans différents domaines du design. Principalement axés sur le développement de projets culturels, corporatifs, commerciaux, d’accueil et de commerce de détail, ils travaillent également de façon intensive sur des projets de régénération urbaine impliquant la reclassification de sites patrimoniaux.

Kokaistudios vise à développer des projets qui contribuent positivement à l’environnement bâti et au tissu social des villes et des pays dans lesquels ils sont situés.

El estudio KYWC Architects fue fundado en 1995 por Seunghoy Kim en Seúl, Corea del Sur. Con los primeros proyectos, se quiso experimentar con diferentes tipos de arquitectura en escuelas, hospitales, iglesias, oficinas y clínicas públicas. Un proyecto llevaba a otro como si de una secuencia se tratase. Desde entonces, Seunghoy Kim y su equipo han adquirido una reputación mundial por su forma de proceder y los trabajos de KYWC se han exhibido y publicado en todo el mundo, recibiendo numerosos premios. Entre sus últimos proyectos se encuentran la Oficina de Publicaciones Munhakdongnae, la Escuela Ewoo, el Museo Mundial de Joyas, el Resort Buyeo, la Iglesia Youngdong, el Centro de Salud Jungsun, la Escuela Secundaria de Lenguas Extranjeras Ewha Girls, la Clínica Jung, la Clínica Jung, Soyul, Place J y el Masterplan de Seoul Design.

Munhakdongne Publishers is located in the book city of Paju. The studio had six months from design to completion of the building. The steel structure system was adequate considering time and economic feasibility. A mass of cubic shapes, covered by copper, steel, glass, and wood shows the program of internal use through the compartmental utilization of each material. The storage is covered by copper, the top of the core is covered by corten steel, the multipurpose room is covered by glass, and the office is covered by wooden blinds. The composition of these four masses forms the entire building. The simple form and the experimental use of the materials show how architecture relates to the urban.

Der Munhakdongne Verlag befindet sich in der Buchstadt Paju. Vom Entwurf bis zur Fertigstellung des Gebäudes hatte das Studio sechs Monate Zeit. Das Stahlbausystem war unter Berücksichtigung von Zeit und Wirtschaftlichkeit ausreichend. Eine Masse von kubischen Formen, die von Kupfer, Stahl, Glas und Holz bedeckt sind, zeigt das Konzept der internen Nutzung durch die abteilende Verwendung der einzelnen Materialien. Das Lager ist mit Kupfer überzogen, die Oberseite des Kerns mit Cortenstahl, der Mehrzweckraum mit Glas und das Büro mit Holzjalousien. Die Zusammensetzung dieser vier Materialien bildet das gesamte Gebäude. Die einfache Form und der experimentelle Einsatz der Materialien zeigen, wie sich Architektur auf das Urbane bezieht.

Munhakdongne Publishers est situé dans la ville du livre de Paju. Le studio avait six mois entre la conception et l’achèvement du bâtiment. Le système de structure en acier était adéquat compte tenu du temps et de la faisabilité économique. Une masse de formes cubiques, recouverte de cuivre, d’acier, de verre et de bois montre le programme d’utilisation interne à travers l’utilisation compartimentée de chaque matériau. Le rangement est recouvert de cuivre, le dessus du noyau est recouvert d’acier corten, la salle polyvalente est recouverte de verre et le bureau est recouvert de stores en bois. La composition de ces quatre masses forme l’ensemble du bâtiment. La forme simple et l’utilisation expérimentale des matériaux montrent comment l’architecture est liée à l’urbain.

Munhakdongne Publishers se ubica en la ciudad de libros de Paju. El estudio contó con seis meses desde el diseño hasta la finalización del edificio. El sistema de estructura de acero era adecuado considerando el tiempo y la viabilidad económica. Una masa de formas cúbicas, cubierta por cobre, acero corten, vidrio y madera muestra el programa de uso interno mediante el uso compartimental de cada material. El almacenamiento está cubierto por cobre, la parte superior del núcleo está cubierta por acero corten, la sala de usos múltiples está cubierta por un vidrio y la oficina está cubierta por persianas de madera. La composición de estas cuatro masas forma el edificio entero. La forma simple y el uso experimental de los materiales muestra cómo la arquitectura se relaciona con lo urbano.

Soyul is located at the foot of the Namsan Mountain, it is the office of the architectural office. Three floors below the height limit were planned to form six levels with different spatial uses. The spandrel glass used for the external finish shapes the surface and a red structural frame linearly expresses a strong flow.

The first floor is a social space open to the city and composed of three columns and the clamp. The office on the second floor is a space without partitions.

The office on the third floor can be divided through the arrangement of small columns. The event room is inside a concrete podium. The mezzanine can play a multi-purpose role. On the roof there is a garden and a pavilion.

Das Soyul liegt am Fuße des Namsan-Berges, es ist der repräsentative Sitz des Architekturbüros selbst. Drei Stockwerke unterhalb der Höhenbegrenzung wurden in sechs Ebenen mit unterschiedlicher räumlicher Nutzung geplant.

Das für die Außenveredelung verwendete Spandrille-Glas formt die Oberfläche und ein roter Strukturrahmen drückt linear eine starke Strömung aus.

Der erste Stock ist ein zur Stadt offener Sozialraum, der aus drei Säulen und der Klemme besteht. Das Büro im zweiten Stock ist ein Raum ohne Trennwände. Das Büro im dritten Stock kann durch die Anordnung von kleinen Säulen aufgeteilt werden. Der Veranstaltungsraum befindet sich in einem Betonpodium. Die Zwischenebene kann eine vielseitige Rolle spielen. Auf dem Dach befinden sich ein Garten und ein Pavillon.

Soyul est situé au pied du mont Namsan, c’est le bureau de l’agence d’architecture. Trois étages au-dessous de la limite de hauteur ont été prévus pour former six niveaux avec des utilisations spatiales différentes. Le spandrel glass utilisé pour la finition extérieure forme la surface et un cadre structurel rouge exprime linéairement un fort écoulement.

Le premier étage est un espace social ouvert sur la ville et composé de trois colonnes et de la pince. Le bureau au deuxième étage est un espace sans cloisons. Le bureau du troisième étage peut être divisé par l’agencement de petites colonnes. La salle de l’événement se trouve à l’intérieur d’un podium en béton. La mezzanine peut jouer un rôle polyvalent. Sur le toit, il y a un jardin et un pavillon.

Soyul está situado al pie de la montaña Namsan, es la oficina del despacho de arquitectura. Se planificaron tres pisos por debajo del límite de altura para formar seis niveles con distintos usos espaciales. El vidrio de spandrel utilizado para el acabado externo da forma a la superficie y un marco estructural rojo expresa linealmente un flujo contundente.

El primer piso es un espacio social abierto a la ciudad y compuesto por tres columnas y la abrazadera. La oficina en el segundo piso es un espacio sin particiones. La oficina en el tercer piso se puede dividir a través de la disposición de pequeñas columnas. La sala de eventos está dentro de un podio de hormigón. El entresuelo puede desempeñar un papel de múltiples propósitos.

En la azotea encontramos un jardín y un pabellón.
