North Country HealthCare’s CEO, Ann Roggenbuck, puts the finishing touch on the capital campaign sign while Rick Swanson celebrates with Alice Ferris and Jim Anderson from GoalBusters Consulting, LLC. North Country HealthCare has reached the $3 million capital campaign goal for its new facility on Fourth Street in Flagstaff. The milestone was made possible by a recent $250,000 challenge grant from the prestigious Kresge Foundation and matching gifts by the Flagstaff Medical Center Foundation, W.L. Gore and Associates, Inc., The Summit Center, Flagstaff Emergency Physicians, the Bank of America Foundation, and the Forest Highlands Foundation. W.L. Gore and Associates, one of Flagstaff’s major employers, indicated that a compelling reason for Gore’s grant to North Country was the current shortage of primary care providers. “Associates and our families need to be able to get high quality primary care when they need it, and this money will support North Country in providing those services,” said John Sininger, Gore’s Medical Products Division Leader. “This grant recognizes the quality of care available from North Country, as well as the convenience they offer with extended office hours six days a week. Health statistics document that access to primary care results in better health outcomes for patients and lower costs for business, so this is a win-win for Gore,” said Sininger.
North Country To commemorate the successful completion of the capital campaign, North HealthCare Country plans to recognize every donor’s name on a large plaque in the entryway 2920 N. 4th Street Flagstaff, AZ 86004 of the new facility.
