Oldham’s Neighbourhood Policing Team fights back against repeat offenders In a determined effort to clean up the town centre, Oldham’s Neighbourhood Policing Team has been actively using Criminal Behaviour Orders (CBOs) to tackle the issue of repeat offenders. Just recently, the team secured another CBO, bringing their total to 38. The team is focused on keeping the town centre safe for both residents and

businesses. CBOs are designed to restrict individuals from entering areas where they’ve repeatedly caused trouble, such as antisocial behaviour (ASB), engaging in shoplifting and burglary. With these orders in place, offenders can face serious consequences, including arrest, fines, or even imprisonment if they break the terms Read more on page 2.
