CANNABIS AWARDS EVENT RECAP

On November 10, 2022, Las Vegas Weekly hosted the inaugural Cannabis Awards at Commonwealth in Downtown Las Vegas . Sponsored by The Source, Tree of Life Dispensary, Deep Roots Harvest, Circle S. Farms , and ShowGrow , this event recognized Southern Nevada’s cannabis industry—from dispensaries, to flower, to edibles and more. This year’s awards recognized 15 honorees including ShowGrow as Best Dispensary , and Alex Carrion at Tree of Life Dispensary for Best Budtender . Throughout the evening, honorees, nominees, and attendees enjoyed the venue while indulging in complimentary cocktails courtesy of Demon Rum , light bites provided by Peyote and green apple cotton candy thanks to Nuage Cotton Candy . The first 200 guests received a custom Cannabis Awards tote bag made by Sacatelle , containing goodies provided by this year’s first place winners. Those who won first place were able to pick up their certificates at the venue. Beautiful balloon installations by Balloon Pros Las Vegas were highlighted throughout the space, and guests commemorated the evening through Desert Cactus Booth’s print and digital photo booth photos, GIFs, boomerangs.
