Empire adds 50th edition PT’s Pub, a staple of Southern Nevada’s gaming and dining industries, had humble but ambitious beginnings By JESSE GRANGER | Staff writer
In 1982, twin brothers Phil and Tom Boeckle opened a quaint, modest pub on the east side of town, where St. Louis Avenue becomes Palm Street. The unassuming brick building was a place for people to enjoy a frosty beer, shoot some pool and unwind from the day.
