GlobalFest knows the value of providing post-secondary students with relevant work experience during the completion of their degrees. That’s why, each summer, GlobalFest recruits a team of driven post-secondary students from varying backgrounds to participate in the Youth Leaders of Tomorrow (YLOT) Program.

The YLOT Program provides young professionals with opportunities to apply some skill sets that they have acquired during their studies to a real workplace environment. During their time with the GlobalFest team, YLOTs gain insights into the nonprofit sector through hands-on experience in a wide array of areas, including event production, administration, volunteer coordination and marketing and communications. Throughout their time in the YLOT Program, the development of workplace independence, leadership skills and relevant experience all aid in setting the YLOTs up for success with future studies and following graduation.
