A son of Kristina Bröring-Sprehe’s Olympic horse Desperados FRH, the expectations of Nashville Star are sky-high. He was one of the crowd pleasers at the KWPN Stallion Show and fulfilled the expecations with a 87,5-point score for his performance test. In addition to his approval at the KWPN, he obtained his breeding license in Westfalen. None other than Dinja van Liere has taken the stallion under her wings. Sire Desperados is followed by the Grand Prix stallion Westpoint, Montecristo and the preferent Flemmingh. The dam line produced various sport horses, such as the Big Tour horse Walskoning (s.Jazz).

Dam

This appealing colt was bred out of the Johnson-daughter Fivorette. For years, the Olympic Johnson and his rider Hans Peter Minderhoud were a tower of strength to the Dutch team and he matched that success in breeding. Fivorette is the half-sister of the dam of Don Juan de Hus, making Twinkel Star an interesting prospect for both sport and breeding! Don Juan de Hus placed sixth at the WC for Young Dressage Horses at five years of age and extended his influence there by siring the world champion Don Martillo and double world champion D’Avie. The pegdigree continues with the Damiro-mare Novorette, the granddam of Don Juan de Hus, and the thoroughbred stallion Troublemaker XX. Novorette produced the KWPN-appointed stallion Triomf (s.Krack C). Other prominent descendants of this lineage include the Grand Prix horse Domino (s.Spielberg), Inter I horse Wubels (s.Rubels), the Inter II horse Obelisk (s.Karandasj) and the NRPS-approved stallion Gladiator (s.Glamourdale).
