Welcome to Glitterati’s Spring 2016 Catalog! We’re quite captivated by our spring list and hope you will be, too. As you know, we try to be as creative about the way we produce and publish our books as our authors and artists are innovative about inventing them in the first place. And I think you’ll see that concept in mega-action with our spring list. We’ve been working hard to create exciting, one-of-a-kind books. In the past, some of those have included historically significant testaments such as Jean-Pierre Laffont’s Photographer’s Paradise (a Lucie-award winner), gorgeous explorations of the world around us, as in Anne Menke’s See the World Beautiful, and joyful artistic expressions like painter Hunt Slonem’s opulent Bunnies. This season we are particularly thrilled about photographer Sandro Miller’s unique artistic collaboration with John Malkovich, The Malkovich Sessions, as well as Vanity Fair contributor Firooz Zahedi’s My Elizabeth, an intimate tribute to the legendary Elizabeth Taylor. We are also delighted to present Barbie: The Icon, a gorgeous collection of everything Barbie that celebrates the impact of this trendsetter, global icon, and pop culture mainstay for more than fifty years. We are extremely proud to publish photographer Bob Tabor’s Horse/Human, a stunning paean to equine beauty, and Thom Gilbert’s all-access pass to the world of Elvis Presley, Blue Suede Shoes. The Malkovich Sessions Sandro Miller Interviews by Jon Siskel Over the course of 17 years, acclaimed photographer Sandro Miller and inimitable actor John Malkovich have worked together and combined their larger-than-life personae to produce a series of compelling portraits and films. This book brings together the work created by this unique partnership. Their initial collaborations, a series of distinctive portraits that capture the genius and range of Malkovich’s talent, form the first section of the book.
