BRIDAL EXPERIENCE
Soak up every moment of your pre-wedding preparations in The Farmhouse, where you’ll be surrounded by loved ones in the comfort and elegance of our spacious Bridal Suite. Designed to accommodate up to fourteen members of your bridal party, this private two-room suite offers the perfect blend of luxury and functionality. It features two full bathrooms, generous closet and dressing areas, three dedicated hair and makeup stations and a well-stocked bar with champagne, wine, coffee, and snacks. Vaulted ceilings and floor-to-ceiling windows fill the space with natural light and provide breathtaking views of the grounds below.
GROOM’S EXPERIENCE
The spacious Guest House offers the groom and his entourage a comfortable and private retreat to leisurely prepare for the wedding day celebrations. This secluded two-bedroom, twobathroom cottage features a cozy living room, a quiet study, and a full kitchen complete with a bar stocked with beer, bourbon, coffee, and snacks. With hardwood floors, inviting furnishings, flat-screen TVs, a Sonos sound system and a walk-out stone terrace, The Guest House provides the perfect setting with plenty of space for the groom’s party to relax and enjoy every moment leading up to the celebration.

Three adjoined 18 th century log cabins, recently stuccoed, create a cozy guest house like no other. Heart pine floors, plaster walls, period hardware, beamed ceilings and charming rooms offer guests a true taste of Virginia charm.

THE ENGLISH GARDENS
Enclosed by a one hundred year old, twenty foot high majestic American Boxwood hedge, the formal Parterre Garden is divided into three unique spaces. The White Garden features a pair of topiaried Foster Hollies, Garden Roses, Aliums, Hydrangea and other perennials, all in a luxurious white palette. The GreyGreen Garden boasts verdant textured foliage with twin topiaried Chamaecyparis and espaliered apple and pear trees. The Quadrant Garden showcases a magnitude of colors throughout the season, with each quadrant as a section of a color wheel.
Enter the gardens through centuries-old European iron gates and be greeted by an octagonal lily pool and fountain. Follow the weathered brick and flagstone path to a center walkway with an antique rose covered cedar pergola connecting the three spaces. The Gardens’ twin belvederes, or viewing platforms , allow guests a birds-eye view of all three gardens. Unique outdoor bronze sculpture, tucked away benches, and picturesque backdrops make this space ideal for a bespoke event.

THE EASTERN GARDEN
This space is designed to capture the tranquil nature of the Eastern Spirit. Expansive and open, The Eastern Garden is flanked by two unique structures. The Ting, with an air of balance and serenity, invites quiet contemplation. The Moon Gate, with it’s circular passage, is thought to offer an auspicious welcome of fortune to those who pass through.

THE SPRING HOUSE & TULIP POPLAR
Over four hundred years old, two hundred and fifty feet tall, and thirty feet in circumference, Glenstone’s awe-inspiring Tulip Poplar is one of the oldest and largest trees in Virginia. The lawn leading to it is flanked by towering boxwood hedges on either side.
Cradled under the broad arm of this majestic tree, The Spring House stands as a sentinel of the past, when the cool water of The Bull Run stream provided refrigeration for the storage of milk and vegetables. Centuries ago, these grounds were once the site of a Dogue Indian encampment.

Located less than thirty minutes from Dulles Airport and an hour from Washington DC, Glenstone Gardens is easily accessible for you and your guests.
What is included in the Wedding Experience?
Multi-day property access, valet parking attendants, seasoned property manager, Farmhouse Bridal Studio and Guest House Groom’s Retreat stocked with champagne, wine, bourbon, coffee and snacks. A date night at The Red Fox Inn & Tavern for two, with overnight accommodations.
How many guests can the venue accommodate?
Glenstone Gardens can accommodate up to 250 guests.
What are the time parameters of a wedding at Glenstone Gardens?
The Wedding Collection includes property access for a minimum of four days for your wedding celebration. This allows ample time for set up, celebrating and breakdown with the option to add additional events on the property with family and friends. Wedding day festivities for your guests may begin no earlier than 3:00pm and all guests must depart by 12:00am.
When do I have access to The Farmhouse Bridal Studio and Guest House Groom’s Retreat?
You and your wedding parties will have full access to The Bridal Studio and Groom’s Retreat beginning at 11:00am on the day of your wedding. We can accommodate earlier access, as early at 7:00am, for a fee of $200 per each additional hour.
Does the Wedding Experience include a tent?
Tents are not included with the property rental and must be reserved through our NVP.
May my guests arrive early?
Your guests are welcome to arrive up to half an hour prior to your event start time. At this time, the entrance gate will be open and valet attendants will be on site to park your guests’ cars.
What is the timing for a ceremony rehearsal?
A one hour ceremony rehearsal can be hosted the day prior to your wedding beginning after 11:00am and concluding by 6:00pm.
How many events do you host in one day?
We only host one wedding per weekend. Glenstone Gardens is yours to celebrate in complete privacy.
Do you have locations for pictures?
Yes! Glenstone Gardens is a beautiful property with gardens, fields and mountain views to provide a true taste of serenity and natural beauty that only the Virginia countryside can offer.
Do you have a Vendor List?
Yes. We provide a highly trusted National Vendor Partners (NVP) for you to select your vendors from. Planning, catering and tenting vendors must be chosen from our NVP and other vendors must be approved by our team. Each vendor is familiar with the venue and comes highly recommended!
Do you require a wedding planner?
Glenstone Gardens is a property and does not provide coordinator or planning services for your wedding weekend. Professional wedding planning services are required to assist with the finer details of wedding planning, rehearsal, ceremony, and day-of wedding details. The planner must either be selected from our NVP or approved by our team.
Who is responsible for set up and clean up?
Your Wedding Planner will be responsible for arranging for set up prior to the event, as well as all clean up after the event.
What are the music parameters?
We welcome all types of amplified music including full bands and DJs. Please note all amplified music must end prior to 12:00 midnight.
Does Glenstone Gardens provide any staging, lighting or A/V equipment?
We do not provide any staging, lighting, or A/V equipment for your wedding weekend. Please contact one of our exclusive lighting vendors from our NVP.
What food and beverage options are available?
Glenstone Gardens does not provide food and beverage for your event. Please select a pre-approved caterer from our NVP for your wedding weekend festivities.
Can we bring in our own alcohol?
Due to liability and service standards, we do not allow a client to provide alcohol for their event. Alcohol must be provided by the caterer from our NVP.
Do you have any guidelines concerning departures?
To ensure the safety of your guests, we do not permit sparklers larger than 17 inches. We do not allow wish lanterns or confetti. Fireworks displays are permitted through our NVP.

Are decorations permitted in the houses?
In the Farmhouse, decorations such as rentals, flowers and candles are encouraged. Please note, no open flames are allowed. Candles are required to be in a container or on a stand with a hurricane or chimney to avoid any damage to the property. Adhering anything to the walls or building is not permitted. Decorations such as rentals and candles are prohibited in The Guest House. We do not permit confetti, rice and other tossed items on property.
What transportation options are available?
We recommend several transportation companies on our NVP that will be able to safely transport your guests to and from Glenstone Gardens. Please note Uber and Lyft are not reliable in our area.
What accommodations are included?
Glenstone Gardens does not have any onsite lodging accomodations, however we partner with hotels and resorts in the area. Please see our NVP for recommendations.
What is the payment schedule?
An initial payment of $15,000 is due upon signing of the contract which includes a $5,000 security deposit. The balance due is divided equally into two additional payments with the final installment payable four weeks prior to the wedding date.
What is the security deposit?
A $5,000 damage security deposit is required with the signed contract. This is to cover potential damage by your guests and will be refunded ten business days following the event. If any damages have occurred, you will be notified, and we will bill you for any repairs over and above the deposit.
Do you give a discount to members of the military or any other discounts?
Yes, we support the military, law enforcement, fire fighters and first responders and offer a $500 discount to those actively serving.
What is included in The Red Fox Inn & Tavern date night?
Dinner for two, served at The Red Fox Inn & Tavern is included with your Wedding Experience. An overnight stay at The Inn is also included after the date night. Date nights are scheduled Sunday through Thursday, excluding holidays.
