Is an event coordinator included?
Glenstone Gardens is a venue and does not provide coordinator services for your event. Coordinator services are highly recommended to assist with the finer details of the setup, execution and breakdown of the event. The coordinator must be selected from our PVL.
Who is responsible for set up and clean up?
Your caterer will be responsible for setting up your event as well as cleaning up after the event.
Are decorations permitted in the houses?
In the Farmhouse, decorations such as rentals, flowers and candles are encouraged. Please note, no open flames are allowed. Candles are required to be in a container or on a stand with a hurricane or chimney to avoid any damage to the property. Adhering anything to the walls or building is not permitted. Decorations such as rentals and candles are prohibited in the Guest House. We do not permit confetti, rice and other tossed items on property.
What food and beverage options are available?
Glenstone Gardens allows both in house and pre-approved catering options for your event.
Can we bring in our own alcohol?
Due to liability and service standards, we do not allow clients to provide alcohol for their event. Alcohol must be provided by the licensed caterer from our PVL.
Does the farmhouse include a tent?
Tents are not included with the venue rental and must be reserved through our PVL.
Does Glenstone Gardens provide any staging, lighting or A/V equipment?
We do not provide any staging, lighting, or A/V equipment for your event. Please contact one of our exclusive lighting vendors from our PVL.
Do you have any guidelines concerning departures?
To ensure the safety of your guests, we do not permit sparklers larger than 17 inches. We do not allow wish lanterns or confetti. Fireworks displays are permitted through our PVL.
What transportation options are available?
We recommend several transportation companies on our PVL that will be able to safely transport your guests to and from Glenstone Gardens. Please note Uber and Lyft are not reliable in our area.
What accommodations are included?
Glenstone Gardens does not have on site lodging, however we partner with hotels and resorts in the area. Please see our PVL for recommendations.
What is the payment schedule?
An initial payment of $10,000 is due upon signing of the contract which includes a $5,000 security deposit. The balance is due four weeks prior to the event date.
What is the security deposit?
A $5,000 damage security deposit is required with the signed contract. This is to cover potential damage by your guests and will be refunded ten business days following the event. If any damages have occurred, you will be notified, and we will bill you for any repairs over and above the deposit.
Do you give a discount to members of the military or any other discounts?
Yes, we support the military, law enforcement, fire fighters and first responders and offer a $500 discount to those actively serving.
