Bursaries

Award holders who require assistance over and above the value of their award will be eligible for a means tested bursary to provide assistance of up to 100% of termly fees. Parents of boys who are likely to require a bursary should contact the Registry and request a Means Test form which should be completed and submitted at the same time as the Scholarship application.

The School also awards Open Bursaries for boys who are not of Scholarship standard but who are likely to benefit significantly from a Sherborne education. Further information about the application process for Open Bursaries is available from the Registry.

Awards are renewable annually as long as commitment to the areas of expertise continues to be shown. Further bursaries for award holders may be available dependent on financial need. Entry forms and information on assessments can be found on the school website www.sherborne.org

General Examinations: Past papers and subject information are available on the school website. •

Candidates for any Third Form (Year 9) Award must be under 13 on 1 September 2014.

Candidates for any Sixth Form Award must be under 16 on 1 September 2014.

Candidates for all Awards should expect to satisfy the School’s minimum academic standards.
