MULITZ THEATER CAMPAIGN

A SUCCESS

We are thrilled to announce that we have surpassed our goal of raising $100,000 for the renovation of the Mulitz Theater, thanks to a generous pledge from the theater’s namesake Mulitz family! Much of the rigging work in the theater was completed over the summer, and new (GCS green!) curtains have been hung. Our performing arts students and faculty are eager to get back onstage for a full season of concerts, performances, and musicals. Many thanks to the families, alumni, faculty, and friends who supported the Mulitz renovation effort!

THE GOAL:

100% IN 100 DAYS

The campaign for the 2021–22 Annual Fund has kicked off, and GCS faculty and Board of Trustees have both achieved 100 percent participation! We have set the same goal for our parent community, and our Dragon parents are already answering the call.

Every member of the Dragon family—parents, alumni, grandparents, and faculty—is invited to support the Annual Fund each year. The Annual Fund is the school’s most important philanthropic priority because it directly supports the operating budget, bridging the gap between the tuition charged and the actual cost of running the school. Moreover, a high rate of participation in the Annual Fund demonstrates that the GCS community believes in the school and its mission. This show of community support matters—for Admissions, for foundation and corporate donors, and our reputation.
