Enhance your understanding and appreciation for comic books and graphic novels! You will create fantastic characters, cover art, and a comic book of your own. This after-school class is ideal for the artistic elementary school student who loves reading or needs help falling in love with reading. There will be a variety of age-appropriate comics and graphic novels available for you to enjoy. We will learn vocabulary surrounding comic book creation and you will be empowered to create your own world through the art of storytelling. All materials included. Enter the wonderful world of form and function! Learn sculpture fundamentals while having fun creating functional ceramic pieces of your very own. You will determine what item you could use in your home. A dish? A bowl? A phone holder? You will also have the chance to work with packaging design and create a beautiful way to transport your work home. This after-school class is ideal for the artistic elementary school student who loves to experiment, maybe a future engineer!
