COMPENSATION STUDY PROMPTS CITY COUNCIL TO APPROVE PAY INCREASES There is good news for COG employees as the City Council has approved a budget for the next fiscal year that includes PAY INCREASES through cost-of-living adjustments, merit increases and market adjustments for certain classifications. The market adjustments are a result of a recent market study that will continue to be conducted at lease once every two years to ensure the city maintains fair, competitive wages and continues to be a highly desirable employer. Your first paycheck in July will reflect your new benefit deductions, while your second paycheck in July will include your new benefit deductions AND a full-pay period of increases that you are qualified to receive.
