LaWTIG 2023 will seek to bring the landfill and alternative waste treatment industries together to learn about the latest techniques and developments – while providing a forum for the exchange of knowledge and ideas. Although sponsorship packages are available, the LaWTIG 2023 Conference is primarily supported by an exhibition and social programme, rather than being a trade expo. The LaWTIG 2023 Conference & Exhibition will be held at the University of Cape Town Breakwater Lodge Conference Centre on 18 and 19 October 2023. The optional technical tour will take place on 20 October 2023. This event will, in addition, focus on the impact the countries’ current energy crisis has on landfill and alternative waste treatments while finding innovative solutions to its landfill and alternative waste treatment challenges.
