THE NATIONAL PHOTOGRAPHIC PORTRAIT PRIZE 2018 ON VIEW 16 February â&#x20AC;&#x201C; 21 April The National Photographic Portrait Prize is an annual event intended to promote the very best in contemporary photographic portraiture by both professional and aspiring Australian photographers.

Now in its eleventh year, this annual exhibition draws from entries submitted by photographers across Australia. This year 43 photos were selected from an astounding 3,224 entries to form the exhibition.

Drift, is an exhibition from local artist Jackie Deane, with a lifelong connection to water, Drift will take you on a journey through the mountains and rivers to our local salt air seascapes. Jackie has been an artist and art tutor for over 30 years. During that time she has successfully exhibited, winning many awards throughout NSW with works in private collections both nationally and internationally.

SUE BELL & JANN KESBY TWO OBSESSIONS

ON VIEW 23 March – 22 April “At times the mind is filled with a need to express a feeling or an observation to the point of obsession.”

Two Obsessions is a collaborative exhibition by artists Sue Bell and Jann Kesby each exploring and responding to their ‘obsessions’ with domestic and or much loved objects. Whether it is in the making or the collecting, these two artists, through their medium of choice explore how these objects can create a sense of place, and become a part of the tapestries of daily lives.

In Discovery Fe26, Blacksmith artists have been inspired by the anniversary of John Oxley crossing the Hastings River 200 years ago.
