The Orangery

The Orangery offered a day filled with ‘fast paced fillies, fabulous frocks and fascinators and fashions on the field’ with guests coming from across the Sunshine Coast to attend. Funds raised at the event supported the Maleny Neighbourhood Centre.

The Melbourne Cup event at the Beerwah Hotel was of a child-friendly nature, with proceeds supporting Beerwah & District Kindergarten P&C. Beerwah’s Icon Boutique hosted a fashion parade calling on the talented Kindy mums and one nanna to be the models on the day (they all did an awesome job).

Vintage Calendar Girls at Tiffany's

The Vintage Calendar Girls hosted a very stylish Melbourne Cup lunch at the gorgeous Weddings at Tiffany’s at Maleny. They had prizes for the best dressed and the most glamorous millinery.

Proceeds went to Maleny State High School chaplaincy and the Vintage Calendar Girls charity raising funds for local woman Shakira Frisby, who is battling an aggressive brain tumour.

Guests at Club Glass House were advised to bring their inner child with them for Melbourne Cup lunch, which made for some great moments in the day’s traditional party games played for prizes, including Pin the Tail on the Donkey, Who am I and Pass the Parcel.

The Rotary Club of Maleny hosted its third Melbourne Cup fundraiser event at the beautiful Maleny Manor. Proceeds from the day will be donated to Maleny Hospital Auxiliary and The Hear and Say Centre.
