New Year 7 students settle in

Beerwah State High School welcomed 157 new year 7 students to the school last week. Deputy principal Tanya Hayden said it had been a very positive start to the year with a key focus in the first week on building relationships between students and staff and assisting students to settle into their new school environment.

“We look forward to some very exciting things happening with our year 7 students throughout the year and invite all of their parents to attend our year 7 parent night on Tuesday, February 12 from 4.30–6.30pm,” Tanya said.
