FENDER WASHERS

Boker’s offers fender washers in a wide variety of sizes and materials. A fender washer, though similar in shape to a standard washer, differs in that the outside diameter is traditionally much larger in proportion to the center hole. With this design, a fender washer can be placed under the head of a bolt or nut to help distribute forces applied when tightening.

Fender washers are offered with outside diameters ranging from 0.081 inches to 5.000 inches, plus numerous inside diameters and thickness options. Boker’s delivers washers in materials including lowcarbon sheet steel, various spring steels, stainless steel, aluminum, brass, copper and nickel silver. METAL RECOVERY SYSTEM

The FinesSort Jr. Metal Recovery System is designed for recycling facilities where operational space is at a premium. Its compact design allows for efficient recovery of 1” and smaller fines. The system receives discarded “fines” material that has passed through an initial screening process and creates three material streams: a clean ferrous product stream, a clean nonferrous metals stream and a waste stream.

The FinesSort Jr. is engineered with a 24inch diameter AIP Pulley and a 60-inch Xtreme™Eddy Current Separator (ECS) to create the clean fines streams.

The new KeeLine® Horizontal Lifeline System is designed to provide workers with fall protection at working heights during maintenance or irregular tasks where collective fall protection, such as safety railings, is not feasible. Adaptable to different usage situations, KeeLine is designed to support up to three users over each span of more than 15 meters through continuous attachment while travelling the system. M16 CONNECTORS

The Series 423 and Series 581 connector line has been expanded with the addition of M16 cable connectors featuring screw termination. The M16 connectors are suited for industrial applications requiring a solderless assembly. The new design features hex screws for terminating the cable conductors thereby eliminating the need for soldering and simplifying field assembly. This termination scheme to the Series 423 IP67 and 581 IP40 connectors is based on the design of the popular M12 sensor connectors. Male and female versions are available with 3, 4 or 5 gold-plated contacts and accept cables with an outer diameter of 4mm to 8mm. HEAT SINK ANALYSIS SYSTEM

Computers get very hot. Heat sinks need to efficiently conduct heat away from the electronic components that generate this heat. The new Tactilus® heat-sink analysis system enables research and design engineers to quickly and precisely test and correct the surface contact and pressure distribution between the heat sink and its source.

The Tactilus® sensor is flexible and only 0.015-in. thick (0.38mm) allowing it to be placed between the CPU and the heat sink without affecting the assembly. The sensor pad has 625 resistive sensing points arrayed on a 25 x 25 grid. The total sensing area is 2 in x 2 in.

The scan speed is up to 1,000 Hertz and the operating pressure range is 0 to 100 psi. The sensor collects and processes sensor data using easyto-use Windows®-based software.

GRAPHALLOY® a graphite/metal alloy, is formed from molten metal, graphite and carbon. It is a uniform, solid, selflubricating bushing and bearing material.

The 117 Series is suitable for bakery ovens, heat treat furnaces, glass plants, potato chip and bagel factories, dampers, stokers and wherever grease, oil and plastic bushings fail or prove troublesome.

A self-cleaning Rotary Drum Screen model 24 RDS 24 removes solid materials from waste streams at high rates. The unit contains a rotating cylinder that is 610 mm in diameter by 610mm long, and is constructed of wedgewire screen. Effluent discharges from a head box, overflows a dam and flows onto the outside of the rotating cylinder, allowing water to pass through the wedgewire into the cylinder.

A doctor blade scrapes sludge and debris collected on the outside of the cylinder, while an internal spray line dislodges particles blinding the screen. The separator is intended for food, sewage, pulp and paper, rendering, palletizing and other applications in which solids must be removed from slurries in high volumes.

Zero maintenance bearings are now available as an option for Schmidt Offset couplings from Zero-Max. This new coupling feature eliminates the need for periodic coupling lubrication and the resulting system downtime. The couplings for parallel offset shafts transmit constant angular velocity and torque in a wide range of parallel shaft misalignments.

A newly designed “Versatile Mount” has been engineered to provide industry with a highly flexible, easily changeable mount for a wide range of positioning applications. This mount was designed to be very compact in size yet still be capable in supporting substantial weights when secured in the desired position. The new mount can be used wherever there is a need to have a highly conformable mount between a fixed structure and a component on the other end that needs to be positioned quickly, reliably and securely.

NYLON FOAM SHEETS

The N3000 is a lightweight, closed cell, cross linked foam based on Nylon 6. It is offered in 39” x 78” sheets in thicknesses ranging from 1/16-inch to 1/2-inch and can be specified with or without an acrylic adhesive. Pres-On N3000 exhibits structural rigidity, even at higher temperatures, allowing it to be easily fabricated into simple or highly-complex shapes for such products as automotive and industrial seals, gaskets or thermal insulation that require both high temperature tolerance plus chemical resistance.

The Series PFT Paddlewheel Flow Sensor with pulsed output monitors liquid flow in 1 1/2” to 40” pipes. Insertion design allows one model to be used for the full pipe size capability. Non-magnetic operation using inductive sensing allows for low flow sensing and is not affected by magnetic material in the flow. A square wave output signal is generated with frequency proportional to flow velocity. Its design is weatherproof and submersible rated for application versatility including irrigation systems. The Series PFT comes in brass or 316 stainless steel versions for different media compatibility.
