LETTER FROM OUR FOUNDERS Dear F r i e nd, Last y e a r w as an am azing year as Giving HOPE s e t a record in dollar amount of f o o d dist r i b u t e d and hot meals cooked. We dist r i b u t e d over 13 million dollars of foo d and c o o k e d over 300,000 hot meals. We comp l e t e d the HOPE House in South Afr i c a wher e k i d s that live in squatter cities can n o w atte n d s c hool and babies given up for adop t i o n have a place to live.

In 2 0 2 2 , we finished the Pakistan Water W e l l Proj e c t , where we put 100 water wells in East e r n P akistan along with a new Givin g HOPE E d ucation Cen ter. These kids will n o w have a c h ance to drink clean water and g e t educ a t e d on Christian values. The 2022 Givi n g H O PE Gala had a record year as W i l l i e and K o r i e Robertson spoke about being G o d ’ s hand s a n d feet.

Wome n o f HOPE Un ite raised a record amou n t o f money for its HOPE for Childr e n Chri s t m a s Bazaar. They blessed 45 child r e n and p a r t n ered with several organization s t o hel p c h i l d r en in nee d. We hosted our fir s t Givi n g H O PE Marriage Retreat in Destin, F L wher e 3 0 couples got to hear strategies o n how t o i m prove their marriages.

The G i v i n g HOPE Community Center had a n i ncr e d i b l e summer as it hosted several hund r e d c hildren for its Vacation Bible Scho o l p r ograms. The Good Shepherd Sc h o o l i s un d e r r e novation as they plan to star t t h e i r first c l a s s in 2023. T hrive has done an amaz i n g j ob in vocational grants and trai n i n g for C D L o pportunities.

The G i v i n g HOPE Retreat Center had an o t h e r i ncr e d i b l e year as more men are getting o f f hero i n . T hey generated over 1.2 million dol l ar s i n work prog rams. Men are gettin g heal e d f r om drugs and finding purpose t o beco m e a l l that God is calling them to beco m e .

We ac q u i r e d over 95,000 dollars in goods t o be d i s t r i b u ted throu gh the local churche s with C i t y S e rve. This year we expect that numb e r t o be over 1 million dollars in go o d s .

In 2 0 2 3 , we are officially opening a new f o o d pant r y i n H awaii and also opening other f o o d pant r i e s with our partnerships in Los Ang e l e s and S a n D iego. We will also host three Gi v i n g HOPE G a l a s! In August, we will have the ribb o n c u tting of our new HOPE House i n Ukra i n e . This will be a facility where fami l i e s who h a v e lost everything can get sponso r e d

by C h r i s t i a n families throughout Europe a n d star t a w hole new life.

In 2022, the Giving HOPE Food Pantry met the needs of over 3,000 households consistently each month from two food pantries in New Orleans and supplied nutritional hot meals to 500 senior citizens 5 days a week. We are proud to say Giving HOPE has expanded our services to Kaneohe, Hawaii assisting kupuna (elderly) and families with disabled children fighting food insecurity. We held our official Grand Opening of Giving HOPE Hawaii on January 13, 2023. We're learning that more and more people are living in poverty and seriously fighting food insecurity across the United States.

Giving HOPE will continue to open pantries wherever God leads us and continue helping those in need of our free food assistance services. Wherever God sends us to do our part to 'Stomp Out Hunger,' we will go.

GIVING HOPE COMMUNITY CENTER The Giving Hope Community Center, a partnership between Giving HOPE and Thrive New Orleans through its Thrive 9th Ward (T9) pillar, is a safe space for Desire-Florida families and youth. T9 creates opportunities for neighbors to grow personally and professionally through a community based model that focuses on indigenous leadership development, mentorship, specialized job training and activities such as summer camps, Vacation Bible School, and sports and recreation programming.

HOPE HOUSE SOUTH AFRICA

In 2022, Giving HOPE partnered with Impact Africa to dedicate two HOPE Houses in Johannesburg, South Africa, The Giving HOPE Randburg Baby Home and The Giving HOPE Preschool of South Africa. Since the partnership, The Giving HOPE Randburg Baby Home has housed 36 rescued babies. Of those 36, 16 have been adopted, a few have been reunified with family, and others have been transferred to other homes as set by local social services.

The Giving HOPE Preschool of South Africa currently serves 78 students and is growing. The school expects to exceed 100 students in 2023.

CITYSERVE GREATER NEW ORLEANS WHAT IS CITYSERVE? CityServe is a collaborative network designed to help local churches create greater impact and offer hope in the name of Jesus. Its vision is to empower the local church and to be the center of community and the driving catalyst for restorative relationships with those in need. Its mission is to train, equip, and mobilize the local church to live out the gospel of Jesus Christ in its community through compassion.

CITYSERVE GREATER NEW ORLEANS POD HIGHLIGHT: CITY OF REFUGE NEW ORLEANS The City of Refuge NOLA, led by Pastor Terry Ray, converted a small Metairie Assemblies of God Church into a spiritual and material resource center for the community. The church hosts small congregations of believers, prayer, fellowship and encouragement sessions for local pastors, and family-based community outreach events through CityServe Greater New Orleans. The nonprofit also adopted Phoebe Hearst Elementary School, helping students, teachers, and families with academic, personal, and recreational supplies.

WHO WE ARE Premier Automotive was established in 1995 as a Toyota dealership located in the heart of New Orleans. The organization was founded by Troy Duhon, who had dreamt of becoming a car dealer.
