Originally from Venice, Italy, Giulia Pianelli works as an Art Project Manager and Marketing consultant. She holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Arts Management from Ca' Foscari University of Venice and a Master's in Marketing and Global Markets from the University of Milan-Bicocca. After spending 8 years in Milan, she recently moved to Tāmaki Makaurau Auckland, in Aotearoa New Zealand, to explore issues related to First Nations Art, with a particular focus on Australian Aboriginal and Māori. She collaborates with various cultural realities, including Villume, the digital exhibition platform on which LEGAMI came to life, which she works for as a digital curator and copywriter. She works in exhibition research and development for The Lyme Museum, the first museum in the world dedicated to invisible disabilities. She writes for Artuu.it, an online art magazine, and she is the main correspondent from Australia and New Zealand. She carries on a blog, artefortuna.it, and creates content on social media to promote any form of art and cultural event. In the latest period she has been creating content about her life in New Zealand, as well as the traditions and arts of the First Nations people she’s studying.
