Girl Scouts of NYPENN Pathways (GSNYPENN) is chartered by Girl Scouts of the USA to administer the Girl Scout program in 24 counties of New York and two in Pennsylvania. We’re an independent 501(c)3 nonprofit that fundraises to manage operations of programs, camps and other council-led activities.

Girl Scouts is the preeminent leadership development organization for girls. We offer every girl a chance to practice a lifetime of leadership, adventure and success. Outdoor Progression

Progression allows Girl Scouts to learn the skills they need to become competent in the outdoors, including how to plan and organize outdoor activities. Acknowledge a girl’s mastery of an outdoor skill and invite her to challenge herself further by taking that next step up and out!

How Do YOU See Yourself at Camp?

How about swimming in a crystal-clear lake, making s’mores over a campfire with new best friends or hitting a bullseye at the archery range? We have something for everyone!

Our summer camps are open to any youth entering grades 1-12 during the 2026-2027 school year. You DON’T have to be a current Girl Scout to join the fun—camp is for anyone looking for an outdoor adventure!

Non-Girl Scouts join camp with a one-time $45 registration fee, which provides a GSNYPENN Council membership valid through September 30, 2026, and access to exclusive year-round programming and special offers.

Campers register based on the grade they’ll enter for the 2026-2027 school year:

Registration is through our easy-to-use CampDoc platform. After you register, you’ll receive an email inviting you to complete your health history and medical forms through your CampDoc account. If your family/caregiver already set up an account from a previous year, they simply have to update your info.

All health history information is due two weeks before your camp’s start date. Final payments for all camps are due June 15. Final payment for Beyond camps are due two weeks before the start of camp.

All summer camp sessions include a $50 non-refundable deposit payable at the time of registration. Me & My Gal/Pal programs are paid in full at the time of registration. Troop Core requires a $50 deposit from your troop.

No problem! Round-trip busing is just $50 per camper per week from Triphammer Marketplace, 2255 N. Triphammer Rd., and Wegmans, 500 S. Meadow St., Ithaca.

Enchanted Forest • July 6-10 Come join us for an enchanted forest adventure! Spend a week among the fairy folk and help transform Comstock into a mystical getaway! Build fairy towns, battle trolls, try to outsmart goblins and more!

Ahoy Adventures • July 13-17 Calling all young pirates, sea explorers and treasure hunters! Get ready to set sail for a week of swashbuckling fun! Ahoy Adventure is a high-energy, imagination-fueled camp where you’ll embark on daily quests across the Seven Silly Seas. From crafting pirate hats and building cardboard ships to decoding treasure maps and going on epic scavenger hunts, every day is a new nautical adventure.

The Great Dino Hunt • July 20-24 Ever wondered how scientists discovered dinosaurs? Join our paleontology crew and uncover the secrets of the past! Each day, you’ll dig for ancient artifacts, hunt for hidden dinosaur eggs and build your very own museum collection. Stomp like a dinosaur, explore how different species survive and decide which one is your favorite!

Magic and Mischief • July 27-31 Everyone’s favorite theme is back at Comstock for one week only! Immerse yourself in a world of magic where witches and wizards must join to hone their wild magical abilities.

Gnome You Didn’t • August 3-7 Step into the enchanting world of garden gnomes, woodland creatures and tiny hidden kingdoms! This one-of-a-kind camp invites curious campers to shrink down their imaginations and explore the world from a gnome’s eye view.

H2-Oh Yeah! • August 10-14 Get ready to dive into the wildest week of the summer! Be prepared to soak up the sun and make waves with epic water games, thrilling slip ‘n slides, wild water balloon battles, paddle adventures and surprise splash challenges! Whether you’re racing through obstacle courses or chilling in a lazy river float, this week is the ultimate cool-down adventure. Grab your swimsuit, sunscreen and best cannonball and get ready to make a splash this week at Comstock!

To Infinity and Beyond • August 17-21 • Optional overnight add-on: $50/camper Get ready, young astronauts—it’s time to suit up and launch into an epic space adventure! Explore the wonders of outer space through hands-on activities, cosmic crafts and intergalactic games.

Camp Hoover • Tully, N.Y. • Est. 1929 Hoover is in the heart of Central New York on scenic Song Lake. Campers challenge themselves at our shooting sports range, paddle on our serene lake and hike trails through the green forest! Our program is perfect for youth who may be experiencing camp for the first time.

Ahoy Mateys and Mermaids • July 6-10 Me mateys! Climb aboard the Jolly Hoover for a week of pirates, treasure and mermaids. Learn essential skills like sword fighting, flag making and how to follow a map to the buried treasure. Discover all Hoover has to offer and stake your claim on the high seas.

The Great Hoover Bake-Off! (Girls-only) • July 13-17 • Optional overnight add-on: $50/camper Get ready to whip up some magic in the kitchen and compete for Star Baker in what is sure to be a deliciously fun week at camp! Learn the basics, such as knife skills and fire safety, and then scale up to cooking over a fire! Figure out how to incorporate a mystery ingredient into your snack…because at the Great Hoover Bake-Off, possibilities are endless!

Life-Sized Games • July 20-24 Hoover is turning into a giant board game for the week! Race your very own Mario Kart around camp, jump into a game of Clue and find out whodunnit at the end of a scavenger hunt! Be prepared to design your own game during this adventurous week for gamers of all kinds.

Under the Surface (Monday-Wednesday only) • July 27-29 • $175/camper Water, water everywhere! Swim in the lake, paddle to the island and create watercolor paintings. Learn about the water ecology of the lake and how we impact it. What will you discover under the surface?

Art-tastic Adventures (Girls-only) • August 3-7 •Optional overnight add-on: $50/camper Explore art and nature while enjoying all the classics of summer camp. Be inspired by our scenic surroundings and create paintings, sculptures and tie-dye. Take aim in the archery range and create splatter art! Discover your inner artist at Hoover this summer!

Choose Your Own Adventure • August 10-14 • Optional overnight add-on: $50/camper Get ready for an unforgettable camp experience! Get ready to get soaked, make friends and dive into some seriously awesome water fun. Every day is packed with wild water games, messy science experiments and splashtastic challenges that’ll have you laughing, learning and maybe even turning into a full-on water wizard. Wilderness Warriors July 5-10, girls entering grades 6-12 July 19-24, all genders entering grades 6-12 Are you ready to step out of your comfort zone and into the wild? Wilderness Warriors is an actionpacked camp program that blends the excitement

Chef’s Ahoy (Girls-only) July 26-31, entering grades 6-12 Ready to level up your cooking skills? Join us for a fun outdoor cooking adventure! You’ll cook a two-course meal over a campfire, go on a mystery scavenger hunt to create a surprise dish and test a menu throughout the week. You’ll also learn how to cook for a group in our kitchen and, at the end of the week, prepare a snack to share with parents at checkout to show off what you’ve learned.

Night Owls (Girls-only) August 2-7, entering grades 6-12* Embrace all five senses as you explore the magic of the night with us! Over the course of the week, we’ll stargaze, take night hikes and twilight swims and make nocturnal crafts while learning about wildlife and nature under the stars. Enjoy campfire stories, shadow puppet shows and fun night games that foster friendships and adventure. Perfect for youth who thrive after dark, this camp promises unforgettable memories and exciting experiences! *Schedules will be adjusted appropriately based on the age group of the campers.

Our expert staff will lead activities like archery, swimming, canoeing and kayaking, outdoor cooking, arts and crafts and so much more! We’ll provide meals, cozy cabins for sleeping and all the camp fun you could ask for.

Troop Days, Family Days Not sure if you’re ready to stay overnight? Check out our Troop and Family Days at Amahami and Trefoil! Bring your lunch and sense of adventure as you spend half the day with our expert staff participating in activities such as archery, the ropes and challenge course and water sports. Explore our properties with your troop or family as you complete self-led activities like hiking, crafts and more! Please note there will be no food service during Troop and Family Days.

Camp Amahami • Deposit, N.Y. • Est. 1929 Amahami is in the foothills of the Catskill Mountains and boasts over 450 acres of land to explore, a private lake to enjoy, a multi-use shooting sports area, a Solar STEM Lab and our very own fire tower! Amahami offers campers the opportunity to expand their knowledge, confidence and comfort in nature through an immersive outdoor experience. Campers can sleep in a platform tent, rustic cabin or lodge.

Family Camp • July 3-5, July 24-26 • All ages • $85 per participant Why should the campers have all the fun? Pack your family and head to camp! Located on the edge of the Adirondacks, Trefoil offers our only high and low ropes course and water trampoline on our private, serene lake! This intimate, outdoorsy setting provides adventure, new friends and lasting memories. Campers this summer can earn badges, learn more about the Girl Scout Leadership Experience, explore sustainability and homesteading, and interact with and care for a variety of farm animals and our extensive garden.

Leadership Programs (CIT) Are you ready to see yourself as a role model for younger campers? Then join one (or more) of these awesome leadership experiences offered at our camps!* About Our CIT Programs How will these programs help you in real life? Day Camp Program Aide at Hoover • July 13-17, girls-only entering grades 6-8 August 10-14, all genders entering grades 6-8 • $300/participant Program Aide (PA) is for youth entering grades 6-8 who are motivated and self-directed. PAs will have the opportunity to learn the leadership skills needed to work with youth in an outdoor setting.

Part of the camp will be spent completing the Program Aide training required for this program.

Day Camp Leader-In-Training • July 20-24, all genders entering grades 9-10 August 3-7, girls only entering grades 9-10 • $300/participant Get ready for a brand-new leadership opportunity! Youth entering grades 9-10 will have the opportunity to hone the skills needed to become a day camp staff member! They’ll learn about camper management and program planning throughout the week and then practice these skills through the creation of their very own program activity! Counselor-in-Training (Girls-only) The Counselor-In-Training (CIT) program helps youth enhance their leadership and camp counseling skills by learning to create lesson plans, developing behavior management and discipline strategies for campers and improving their overall camp skills.

Counselor-in-Training I at Comstock • July 5-17 (Campers stay over the weekend) Girls entering grades 10-12 • $500/participant CIT I is for youth entering grades 10-12 who are participating in the CIT program for the first time.

During this two-week program, CIT I’s will learn about camper behavior and management, how to work as a team and techniques for becoming a great leader. There will also be time to participate in fun activities and challenging group games.

During this two-week program, CIT II’s will focus on honing the skills needed to work with youth at camp.

LGBTQ+ Pride All-Family Camp Weekend at Amahami • June 19-21 Families or solo LGBTQ+ youth ages 12-17 with guardian permission • $150/participant Take your pride outside for a fun-filled LGBTQ+ family weekend where all families are celebrated! Enjoy a relaxing getaway with activities for all ages, including arts and crafts, games, nature exploration, fishing, canoeing, kayaking, community meals and plenty of bonfires. Find a joyful, inclusive space to connect, build community and make lasting memories together in the great outdoors. Presented with generous support from United Way of Broome County.

Beyond’s Rainbow Explorers Day Camp at Comstock • July 6–10, July 13-17, July 20-24, July 27-31 • Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Any youth entering grades 3-5 • $350/participant/week Experience our inaugural day camp program, offering campers four exciting weeks in a joyful, affirming space where kids can be themselves, make new friends and explore experiences in a safe, inclusive environment. Youth will enjoy a summer filled with creativity, friendship and fun along the shores of beautiful Cayuga Lake.

Each week features engaging themes—like self-expression, adventure, teamwork, wellness and leadership—blending play, learning and community-building. Activities include crafts, outdoor games, archery, fishing, nature exploration, swimming and boating, storytelling and pride celebrations. Campers will grow self-confidence, practice kindness and build empathy in a space rooted in Beyond’s mission.

Our day camp is appropriate for any kid ages 8-11 who will benefit from the support of an LGBTQ+ inclusive environment. They may have LGBTQ+ family members, require a space where their gender identity and expression are supported, seek friendships with peers who share similar experiences or simply feel at home surrounded by the LGBTQ+ community.

Camp Beyond Binary 2026 at Amahami Session 1: August 2-8 Session 2: August 9-15 LGBTQ+ youth ages 12–17 $800/camper/session* Note: the following Beyond programs run concurrently with Camp Beyond Binary: Rainbow Explorers Overnight Camp for any youth ages 8-11 (Session 1) Youth Leadership Cohort for LGBTQ+ young adults ages 18-22 (Session 2) Celebrating our fifth summer of Camp Beyond Binary! Camp Beyond Binary offers traditional overnight summer camp activities in a safe, affirming environment led by professional staff from within the LGBTQ+ community, including mental health professionals who specialize in supporting the needs of LGBTQ+ youth and their families. LGBTQ+ youth are encouraged and supported through self-expression and self-advocacy activities, peer relationships and an emphasis on positive self-worth and belonging.

2nd Annual Beyond Youth Leadership Cohort August 9-15 LGBTQ+ young adults ages 18-22 • $450/person* The Youth Leadership Cohort is designed for older campers who are ready to try something a little different — to step into leadership, build community and help shape what camp can be in the future. Participants will: • Co-design and lead activities with other campers • Practice leadership by shadowing Beyond staff and supporting younger campers • Reflect on their strengths, interests and values • Explore what queer leadership means to them personally and in the community • Create a personal and collective archive of their camp experience through various media Cohort members still get to enjoy the fun of camp—swimming, art house, nature walks and plenty of downtime to relax and just be themselves. *Financial aid is available; no camper will be turned away. Cost includes all meals, lodging and leadership/camp activities.

Important Reminders Remember: registration opens at 9 a.m. on January 20 for all campers!

A minimum number of campers is required to run all programming. If the minimum is not met, camps may be subject to cancellation.

Deposits are non-refundable. Cancellations will receive a full refund minus the $50 deposit if cancellation is requested before June 15. After June 15, no refunds will be issued.

The last day of standard registration (and the date all final payments are due) is June 15. After June 15, payment for all camps is due in full at the time of registration. Health history and medical forms are due no later than two weeks before the start date of your camp.

Camp Merch Pre-order your swag in the “Camp” section of nypennstore.org. Pre-orders end three weeks before the first camp session starts. Your order will be sent to camp and available for pickup by your camper during their session. Shipping is also available for an additional fee.
