Girl Scout Junior Peyton Grubbs-Walker

Troop 2109, Manns Harbor, NC
Girl Scout Junior Peyton Grubbs-Walker from Troop 2109 joined the movement as a Girl Scout Daisy. Peyton serves as president of her student body at Manteo Elementary School and is on the honor roll. She is a member of the school’s chorus and drama teams, active on many athletic teams, and enjoys participating in youth programs at her church. She attributes her ability to lead with confidence to her Girl Scout experience!
Peyton lives the Girl Scout Promise and Law each day and tries to create a world full of goodness and kindness for all. By doing so, she is realizing her strength as a leader of change and her ability to take on challenges. Through her friendship and role modeling, she inspires her friends and fellow troop members to reach their best, as well, and live a life grounded in strong values. She is known as a troop member who arrives early to help set up and leaves late after helping with clean up. Peyton is also known as the go-to person if you need a helping hand, and she has assisted at GSCCC recruitment events.
Spending time outdoors is one of Peyton’s favorite things to do, and she regularly participates in outdoor events, as both attendee and helper! Looking toward the future, she hopes to follow in her grandmother’s footsteps and become a Girl Scout volunteer who helps train others in outdoor skills.
