From Girl Scout Con, our welcoming celebration of all things Girl Scouts, to exciting events like the Run for the Cookies 5K, Cookie Rally, and Cookie University, every experience is designed to inspire joy, encourage growth, and help Girl Scouts develop the skills they need to become tomorrow’s leaders.

ABOUT GIRL SCOUTS
What Is Girl Scouts?
Girl Scouts began in 1912 with just 18 trailblazing girls right here in Georgia. While most women had recently earned the right to vote, many still followed strict social norms and restrictions educationally and financially. The Girl Scout organization changed this. Girls were encouraged to embrace their unique strengths and create opportunities based on their interest, not someone else’s. Girls began participating in areas previously limited to them, including sports, science, and outdoor adventures. The values instilled in girls more than 100 years ago are still true today – helping every girl unlock her full potential, find lifelong friends, and make the world a better place.
Girl Scouts of Greater Atlanta serves more than 33,000 girl and adult members in 34 counties in the greater metropolitan Atlanta area. Tucked away in the heart of Atlanta and next door to the historic Camp Timber Ridge, the Mableton Service Center is home to our staff offices, retail store, and resource center for volunteers.

DAISIES (Grades K-1)
From planting a garden to making new friends, everything sparkles with “Girl Scout newness.”
Daisy experiences are an adventure filled with sisterhood, giggles, learning, and fun.
BROWNIES (Grades 2-3)
Brownies are all about curiosity and exploration. Whether it’s trying new games, diving into the outdoors, or discovering new interests, Brownies build skills and broaden horizons together.
JUNIORS (Grades 4-5)
Juniors step into leadership while having fun along the way. They earn their Bronze Award, take on troop projects, and start turning ideas into action.
CADETTES (Grades 6-8)
Cadettes embrace independence, discover new passions, and grow as changemakers. From earning the Silver Award to joining big events, Cadettes dream big and go for it.
SENIORS (Grades 9-10)
Senior Girl Scouts expand their world— whether it’s traveling abroad, starting career prep, or working toward the prestigious Gold Award. They’re confident and ready to lead.
AMBASSADORS (Grades 11-12)
As the final step before adulthood, Ambassadors innovate, lead advocacy projects, and prepare for the future. Whether earning the Gold Award or mentoring younger girls, they leave their mark.

Join us for some winter and holiday-inspired riding in our Fifth Annual Winter Equestrian Games at Camp Meriwether! Attendees get a refresher mini lesson and the opportunity to challenge their skills with games such as Shovel and Snowball, Present Delivery, and Musical Chimneys. Plus, attendees will create holiday horse ornaments and design a drape for an exciting horse costume contest.
This after-hours adventure transforms camp into a glowing playground packed with excitement. With 30+ program partners hosting hands-on activity tables, Girl Scouts will have the opportunity to explore, create, and discover through interactive, experiential learning. The day also includes in-depth workshops, the legendary Girl Scout science fair, and the option to spend the day at one of Georgia’s most beloved attractions, the Georgia Aquarium.

This signature event will be packed with interactive experiences, science fair fun, The Invention Convention, 20+ partners, and more. Plus, for an additional cost, attendees can explore one of the most beloved aquariums in the U.S., at a special Girl Scout exclusive rate.
Though membership dues are increasing for Membership Year (MY) 2027, Girl Scouting is still a fraction of other extracurricular activities. In fact, American families spend an average of $731 per child on extracurricular activities each year, according to a survey done by LendingTree. A year of Girl Scouting usually costs less than $300 in total per girl, including dues, uniforms, badges, and programming.
However, families don’t have to weigh Girl Scouts versus other extracurricular activities. It can be Girl Scouts AND your other favorite extracurricular activities. Girl Scouting is a customizable experience that can accommodate your schedule and interests.

Troop CEO offers immediate connection through meaningful projects and conversations, access to women leaders, and the latest 1:1 update on news and events, before even being placed in your first troop or attending an event.
The 2026-2027 Girl Scout Membership Year begins October 1, 2026. Renew your membership by September 30, 2026, to keep the fun going.
1. Sign in to myGS. You’ll find the login icon in the top right corner of any page on our website. If you have forgotten your password, click Forgot Password.*
2.Navigate to My Household. From the My Account screen, find My Household in the left-hand menu.
3.Select Renew Now this will place all members in the shopping cart.
4. Review Your Cart and make edits or remove members as needed.
5.If you would like to make a donation to the annual fund, select the desired amount and council “333-Greater Atlanta.”
6. Check the box to agree to the Girl Scout Promise and Law.
7. Select Add Payment Details.
8.Enter payment information and click Submit Payment.
