EXPERIENCE UNITED BAGGAGE HANDLING SYSTEM OPENING DAY AT DENVER INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT (DEN) Owner: United Airlines Project Value: $14.8M This project will allow United’s basic outbound and transfer BHS functionality from the time that the new Concourse A gates open until the larger sortation system comes online.

The Opening Day design revolves around three primary subsystems: two flatplate makeup devices on the apron level, one flatplate transfer bag makeup device in Zone 5 of the basement, and one flatplate transfer makeup device in the basement within Concourse B. CONCOURSE B CUP BOILER 1,3,4 PUMP ROOM REPLACEMENTS Owner: Denver International Airport Project Value: $5.3M This project involved highly critical airport systems that manage cooling and heating of concourse B, which needed to be replaced and made operational within yearly weather windows. Our team was tasked with procuring, receiving and installation of four variable speed hot water pumps, four variable speed chilled water pumps, eight pump variable frequency drives and supporting of the electrical, instrumentation, valving and controls equipment installs.

UNITED AIRLINES B WEST TI Owner: United Airlines Project Value: $8M The first package included TI spaces to support United’s Move Team and Ramp Team. The Move Team’s spaces included 4,415-square-foot of space with breakroom, offices, training room and locker rooms. The Ramp Team received a new 4,300-square-foot support space with training room, offices, breakroom, conference room and restrooms. The project team also built a 700-square-foot electrical room to support electrical needs within the new spaces.

EXPERIENCE GENERAL SERVICES ADMINISTRATION (GSA) BUILDING 67 CONSOLIDATION Owner: GSA Project Value: $29M Gilmore completed GSA’s Building 67 Renovation & Consolidation project which includes a full remodel of all 14 floors in the building except for floors 6 and 8. Tenants on the two floors include the Social Security Administration, Minerals Management Service, the Federal Bureau of Investigation, US Department of Agriculture, GSA Office of Inspector General and GSA Field Office operations. Gilmore and Abo Group received the 2020 DBIA Merit Award for this project.

NATIONAL RENEWABLE ENERGY LABORATORY (NREL) TOA PROJECTS Owner: NREL Project Value: Various For the past few years, Gilmore has worked with NREL through a TOA contract, undertaking numerous fast-track renovations in distinct areas across their Golden campus.

Renovations have been constructed within laboratory and clinic spaces, along with site improvements. Some of these projects involved the installations of specialized laboratory equipment. NREL is known for their rigorous safety and quality protocol across all projects, regardless of their scale.

U.S. AIR FORCE ACADEMY | CADET GYMNASIUM RENOVATION Owner: U.S. Air Force Project Value: $14M Gilmore led the renovation of interior spaces for the Cadet gym, which included architectural, interior, structural, mechanical, electrical, plumbing, fire alarm/fire protection, and communications components. Substantial structural demolition and asbestos abatement were essential before structural reconstruction took place. The project was complete in three phases and included comprehensive site work and enhancements to the HVAC system.

UCHEALTH FIRESTONE MEDICAL CENTER Owner: UCHealth Project Value: $7M This project included the construction of a new 15,000-square-foot clinic. The scope of work included 22 medical examination rooms, one x-ray room, staff working areas, conference rooms, kitchen, and back of house areas.

The project was complete within a 32-week schedule a required thorough collaboration with key subcontractors for unique healthcare installations.

UCHEALTH MRI TRAILER Owner: UCHealth Project Value: $830K The scope of this project involved building an 800-squarefoot connector/hallway to accommodate the installation of a mobile MRI trailer. Executed within operational healthcare spaces, where patients regularly traversed the vicinity of construction, the Gilmore team collaborated closely with affected tenants and staff. This collaborative effort ensured that operations continued seamlessly, with meticulous attention given to implementing effective dust mitigation procedures.

EXPERIENCE CSM WELLNESS CENTER EXPANSION

Owner: Colorado School of Mines Project Value: $800K The Wellness Center Expansion took place on the active Colorado School of Mines campus and included an addition to the second floor of the facility. The new interior additions included office spaces, a health promotion room, reception hall and waiting room. The project team removed bricks and cap for installations of the new exterior brick.

DENVER PUBLIC SCHOOLS (DPS) JEFFERSON & FAIRVIEW HIGH SCHOOL UPGRADES

Owner: Denver Public Schools Project Value: $1M During the summer months, work was conducted at three DPS schools. Steam and condensate piping replacement was carried out at Fairview Elementary School, while Smedley Elementary School underwent domestic water piping replacements. Additionally, Thomas Jefferson High School saw the replacement of hydronic piping.

MONTBELLO FRESHLO HUB

Owner: Montbello Organizing Committee (MOC) / FLO Development Services Project Value: $34M The mixed-use Montbello FreshLo Hub building redevelops an infill 1.6 acre former RTD bus storage site, that is adjacent to commercial, residential, healthcare and open space uses. The six-story structure consists of five levels of 97 units of family affordable housing sitting on top of two levels of a fresh food grocery. Gilmore is currently part of a joint-venture with Alliance Construction on the Montbello FreshLo Hub project. This project has required extensive preconstruction efforts to ensure MOC was able to provide a full-service, mixed-use space with the funds provided for the project, supported through grants and fundraising efforts.

2900 WELTON STREET REMODEL

Owner: RTL Networks Project Value: $1.3M Gilmore was hired as the general contractor for the 2900 Welton Street project, which was a 4,000-square-foot remodel that included new office and meeting spaces on the second floor of the building. Construction took place with occupied tenants on the first and third floors.

Part of the space will serve as an incubator for blackowned businesses.
