Gilmore has manufactured a caliber of excellence in producing authentic dump valves that are used to enable quick dumping of a pilot, cylinder, or circuit function volume. The dump valve vent port bypasses a restrictive control system vent circuit to protect other system components.

GEN2 Quick Dump | Seat O-Ring The newly improved Gilmore Quick Dump Valve features Nitronic 60 Spool with self-centering seat geometry and O-Ring seal for quick dumping of a pilot, cylinder, or circuit function volume. Available in 1/2” NPT and 1/2” SAE configurations.

Gilmore’s line of GEN2 1/2” Quick Dump Valves are used to enable quick dumping of cyclinder, pilot or circuit function volume. The 1/2” Quick Dump Valve vent port will bypass a restrictive upstream control system vent circuit.

1. Field Repairable - With the addition of an O-Ring to the seat, the quick dump allows the valve to be field repairable.

2. Self Centering Seat - The need to coin each valve has been eliminated due to the addition of the blended radius seat.

3. Footprint - The new Gilmore dump valve fits the same footprint as the Gilmore legacy 1/2” Quick Dump valve.

4. Self Centering Spool - The Nitronic 60, self centering spool, allows for inproved cycle life and actuation.

5. Forward Flow - In forward flow, the supply will communicate directly with the function through the spool shift while simultaneously blocking the vent port.

6. Reverse Flow - When the function ratio is achevied, the spool shift function pressure communicates with the vent port.

7. Function Ratio - At a ratio of 1:2 of supply pressure to function pressure, the amount of pressure required for the supply pressure drops.
