September is such a pivotal month in the calendar. It signifies back to school for us all - even if neither you or anyone in your household is still at school It’s the point in the year when we start to turn inwards, layer our homes and our bodies and turn on more of our lights. It’s a return to indoor living and it’s my favourite month

In my home I always start with the outdoors first and start by emptying any planters with spent annuals and packing away any outdoor cushions and our umbrella. That way all gets donebeforeitgetstoochilly.
