• Gilead Sciences anticipates that this will be a highly AIM OF THE PROGRAM The Gilead Sciences Fellowship Program aims to grant financial support to quality-improving initiatives that improve patient care. We aim to support innovative projects that can enhance clinical practice and offer a direct advantage to patients in five disease areas: HIV, Viral hepatitis, Primary Biliary Cholangitis, Breast cancer, Hematological malignancies/Cell therapy. By enabling new healthcare improving projects and collaborations - either at a local or national level in Belgium, the Netherlands and Luxembourg - Gilead Sciences aims to improve patient care, advance medical science and/or shape public health policy. Please seek our advice on your ideas prior to submitting an application for the Gilead Sciences Fellowship program or in case of any questions.

• Applications can be submitted until 10 September 2026 (closing at midnight; applications after 10 September 2026 will not be taken into consideration). The final decision and communication regarding the awarded grants is anticipated for December 2026.
• Proposals must be submitted through the online Gilead portal (https://www.gilead.com/purpose/giving/fundingrequests/apply-europe). For more information regarding the submission via the online Gilead portal, see appendix with application guidance document. Only applications in English will be reviewed.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION Compliance and Transparency
• Your proposal and project shall at all times be compliant with all applicable local laws and regulations (including legislation on data protection and privacy).
• In case your request is granted in full or in part: • Gilead’s support shall be used exclusively for the project; • Gilead’s support shall not impose any obligation to promote or otherwise encourage or induce the prescription, recommendation, purchase, supply, sale or administration of its products or therapies;
• Gilead will disclose its support, pursuant to and in accordance with applicable law and/or ethics codes, on the designated platform.
• Fellowship recipients will be invited to present the (outcomes of) the project at Gilead’s Fellowship Exchange Meeting.
