HARMONIOUS > INTRODUCTION 01
CONCEPT
International students living away from home feel isolated and overwhelmed, probably experiencing some degree of culture shock, while focusing on their studies and seeking a stable housing option. They are often hesitant about seeking assistance and coping with others. They may feel pressured by social anxiety and lack of communication, which leads to homesickness and academic failure. This project offers housing for international students, along with a solution through community-based and fusion design to promote community learning, familiarity with the new culture, and socialization.
