Application

Installer Board Application The European Economic Chamber – Global Commerce & Industry, with the abbreviation EEIGCham through the Central office, provides this application for Membership under the guidelines of the EEIGCham Internal regulation Manual.

In order to create an EEIGCham Delegation Office in the country, the Installer Board represented by its President must send the application, to the Central Office to attention of the Board of Directors

Application Requirements: The constitution of a new National Delegation Office or State Delegation Office must:  Be allowed by the Board of Directors of the European Economic Chamber in Brussels.  Make the legal registration in the host country as an association of full national rights or another legal form allowed for the creation of non-profit structures, according the legislation on the country.  Apply the Internal Regulations that may underlie the statute of the organization’s constitution.  Ensure it own financial autonomy and its contribution to the Central Office, in accordance with the regulations and procedures of the European Economic Chamber EEIGCham.  Maintain a direct and regular contact of its activities with the Central Office in Brussels.  Present the annual accounts and reports of the activities to the Central Office.  The President is appointed by the Board of Directors of the European Economic Chamber in Brussels in the annual Autumn Meeting, the 1st weekend of October.  The official language of the European Economic Chamber is English. In some exceptional cases another language but English is permitted, for instance a direct communication between two delegations of the same language which is not English.  All members must respect the EEIGCham Vision, Mission and Values as fundamental pillars of the EEIGCham structure.

Bylaw: Is mandatory for all EEIGCham bodies and Delegations include on Bylaw, regulations, membership form and all contracts, include the information about the jurisdiction by the Arbitration Court of International Justice – ACIJ, to benefit from the advantages, economy and protections.

It should be mentioned in the Bylaw the authorization of Installer Board sign international agreements to establish twinning arrangements. Apply the EEIGCham Internal Regulations that may underlie the statute of the organization’s constitution.

Legal Form: The Installer Board must make the registration in the host country as an association of full national rights or another legal form allowed for the creation of non-profit structures, according the legislation on the country.

Each country has different legal forms for the establishment of non-profit organizations, the Installer Board must check prior to registration which is the legal form with less juridical and financial responsibilities and allowed the independence of government agencies and other instances on the host Country.

Delegation Google Drive: For a good and easy operation of documentaries procedures the Central Office require the creation of an account on Google Drive for exclusive use of the EEIGCham. The documents must be saved on the Google drive, with access to the Central Office and the link of the document introduced in the EEIGCham Form as indicated.

Application Fees

The Installer Board is a group of unlimited number of individuals or corporate managers spotless, politically and economically well connected, and active in business life.

In order to create an EEIGCham Office in the country, The Installer Board in the name of the President, presents the application to the Board of Directors in Brussels, as required procedures.

The Delegation must pay to the Central Office fees that are composed of two headings:

The Installer Board, to better respond to the needs of members, may change the structure of the Management Board, Consultative and Executive Committee and establish a new structure of local and regional support.

The Installer Board has to: be composed of 9 person or more; Nominate a Bookkeeper, for the legal and administrative procedures for a good performance of the Delegation. Transmit to the Central office all the relevant and required information. In the Installer Board Assembly, the President, representing the European Economic Chamber of Brussels, and has not the right to vote.

As a representative of the European Economic Chamber in Brussels, the President of the delegation intervenes in these cases:  Express opinions  Warns about all regulations of the EEIGCham that guide and regulates the Delegations.

The composition of the Installer Board can be different as proposed by the Central Office.

Annual membership fees - Paid in the beginning before the registration procedures and annually at the beginning of each year up to February 15th, with validity up to December 31st of the current year. The annual fees of the Delegation to the Central Office is 1.000€ for the access to the Orion platform.

Variable fees Contribution – Concerning the contribution of each Delegation to the Central Office to be use on the International Secretariat for the administrative costs.  This contribution corresponds to 15% of annual membership fee paid to the EEIGCham Delegation. The members’ activation will have to be paid up to 30 days after the member's subscription and before member’s activation on the Orion platform and the EEIGCham Central System.  All official delegations created by the EEIGCham procedures are exempt from the variable contribution in the first three years. (the year of the Letter of Agreement is the year 0 - not counting)  All delegations with less than 1.000 members, it has a reduction of the variable contribution of 5%, subject to the payment of 10% of variable contribution.

Note: Each Delegation is free to have different fees for his members on the host Country, is not advisable to delegation have expensive fees, considering that there are several sources of finance for the delegation as it will be indicated later, is more important the delegation have a large number.

I know that legally valid and the EEIGCham binding contracts can only be signed by the Chairman of the Board of Directors (CEO) of the European Economic Chamber EEIGCham in Brussels.

I accept the principles and rules of the European Economic Chamber EEIGCham as laid down in the "Internal Regulation" and I shall be following them.

I am also agreed to pay the annual fee of the Delegation to the EEIGCham Central Office, as stipulated by the Board of Directors and other legal and financial impositions as mentioned in the Internal Regulations or others officials’ documents of the European Economic Chamber EEIGCham.

I further accept that this declaration is binding and if for any reason I resign or am struck off the membership roll of the EEIGCham Delegation in my country, I shall not be entitled to any refund of membership fees.

VERIFICATION By joining the European Economic Chamber EEIGCham, I undertake to respect its ethical positions, including those defined by the bylaw and official documents, also I agree with the Values, Vision and Mission of the EEIGCham.
