Diplomatic Corp Application The European Economic Chamber – Global Commerce & Industry, with the abbreviation EEIGCham through the Central office, provides this application for Membership under the guidelines of the EEIGCham Internal regulation Manual.

Task:     



    

Support the Board of Directors in Brussels, and others departments of the Central Office, developing programs and services for the delegations.

Support the Delegation on the host country, in its expansion and promotion.

Support the EEIGCham Presidency and contribute to the development in her home country.

Inform the Central Office about all kinds of information that can be of interest to the EEIGCham and its members.

Support the EEIGCham with fund raising by Sponsoring & Donations and on the sales of; advertising, Pack Tickets and Orion Subscription.

(Detailed information is available in the manual Sponsorship Opportunities Guide) Indicate potential members to delegations on the geographical area of operation. When there is no delegation on a Country, can proposed to the Central Office a person to chair and open the delegation according to the procedures imposed by the Central Office.

Proposed to the Central Office other members worldwide, to hold a position on the EEIGCham Diplomatic Corp, according to the availability.

Commit and support the EEIGCham in the international expansion and its success worldwide.

When requested, perform the functions of lobbying with professionalism and discretion.

Work with a team work spirit with the other elements of the EEIGCham Diplomatic Corp and Central Office.

Promote the Business climate taking into attention the mission and vision of the European Economic Chamber EEIGCham

Application Endorsement: Members of the Board of Directors, President of an EEIGCham delegation, EEIGCham Commissioner and EEIGCham Ambassador can propose an individual to be part of the EEIGCham Diplomatic Corp. The application must be made by the Form 012 – Functionary’s Detail Form – Diplomatic Corp Application with the EEIGCham CV Form fill by the candidate.

Financial: The member of the Diplomatic Corp for their services may receive a sales commission of 25% of the funds raised for Sponsoring and Donations and a 20% on sales commission for; advertising sales, sales of Pack Tickets and Orion Subscription. Delegation Membership fees are the responsibility of the Delegation for which the Delegation will be able to have their own system for fundraising.

When request intermediary services by a Government or other organization in which it is needed the services of the Ambassador, the Central Office requested to the applicant the detailed tendering specifications to which the Ambassador will indicate the cost of their services.

All services are invoiced by the Central Office which receives a commission of 15%.

All the amounts received are deducted from taxes and other legal and financial requirements according to Belgian law.

Appointment: The member of the Diplomatic Corp is empowered by Certificate of Appointment and Letter of Appointment with the mission statement and operating area, this honorific position with extremely importance to diplomatic relations of the European Economic Chamber EEIGCham, It has likewise a fundamental value in lobbying functions and strategic support for the development of the EEIGCham policy and strategy.

Access to International Organizations

Same International Organizations as United Nations, European Parliament, European Commission and others have strict procedures for access, by which the member of the diplomatic corps shall request information to the Central Office.

For the Application for a member of the National Diplomacy the candidate must indicate the professional career with indication of dates on the EEIGCham CV Form about positions previously filled as:  Heads of State (former Presidents)  Heads of Government (former Prime Ministers)  Member of Government (former Ministers of .........)  Government and Public administration  Member of the Parliament  Others professional career or special characteristics.

For the Application for a member of the Multilateral Diplomacy the candidate must indicate the professional career with indication of dates on the EEIGCham CV Form about positions previously filled on:  United Nations and agencies  European Union and agencies  Intergovernmental organizations  Financial and Development organizations  Trade, and customs International Organizations  Others International Organizations (IGO & INGO)

Application Approval All application must be send to the Central Office for approval.

The application for National Diplomacy must have the approval of the President of the delegation how send the application to the Chairman of the Board of Directors for approval and issue the Certificate of Appointment.

The application for Multilateral Diplomacy must have the approval of the Diplomatic Director how send the application to the Chairman of the Board of Directors for approval and issue the Certificate of Appointment.

DECLARATION OF ACCEPTANCE I mentioned above have read the "Internal Regulation Manual" and others officials’ documents of the European Economic Chamber EEIGCham and taken notice of their content. I know that legally valid and the EEIGCham binding contracts can only be signed by the Chairman of the Board of Directors (CEO) of the European Economic Chamber EEIGCham in Brussels.

I accept the principles and rules of the European Economic Chamber EEIGCham as laid down in the "Internal Regulation" and I shall be following them.

I am also agreed to pay the annual fee of the Delegation to the EEIGCham Central Office, as stipulated by the Board of Directors and other legal and financial impositions as mentioned in the Internal Regulations or others officials’ documents of the European Economic Chamber EEIGCham.

I further accept that this declaration is binding and if for any reason I resign or am struck off the membership roll of the EEIGCham Delegation in my country, I shall not be entitled to any refund of membership fees.

VERIFICATION By joining the European Economic Chamber EEIGCham, I undertake to respect its ethical positions, including those defined by the bylaw and official documents, also I agree with the Values, Vision and Mission of the EEIGCham.
