illa Spiritus is an integrated educational program that honours the theological order of the domestic Church, affirming parents as the primary educators of their children, who we value as persons with dignity and a supernatural destiny. Students meet for Religion, Math, Science, Choral Music, Classical Art, and Literature. Parents home educate English Language Arts and Social Studies, as well as other subjects of their choice.
For parent-delivered subjects, Villa Spiritus supports traditional Home Education completion options, including a parent-verified transcript and diploma, as well as Course Challenge for students wishing to earn Alberta Education credits and/ or an Alberta Diploma. Each student's Alberta Education Transcript will contain their schooldelivered course marks and any Home Education credits they have earned through Course Challenge. Students may also choose a full-time option, completing English and Social Studies online through a partner high school and everything else through Villa Spiritus.
Programme Distinctives: •
A university-model education. Each week, students attend one day of classes in person and one morning online for small group tutorial.

A day marked by the liturgical life of the Church. During each day at the school students attend Mass, pray Matins and Evensong, and live out the cycle of liturgical seasons in feasts and fasts. Chanted and sung liturgy throughout the day enriches religion classes, cultivating a daily experience of the beauty of Christian Faith, Hope, and Love.

The Revitalisation of Catholic Culture. In Anglicanorum Coetibus, Pope Benedict xvi called for the traditions of the Catholic Church preserved in the Church of England to be returned in order to support the life of the universal church. Villa Spiritus seeks to fulfill his call by preserving and transmitting the synthesis of faith and culture developed in our Anglo-Canadian heritage by means of Sacred Worship, Sacred Wisdom, Sacred Music, and Sacred Art.

All classes are led by qualified, Catholic instructors who annually take an Oath of Fidelity to the Magisterium of the Catholic Church.
