Integrating Sphere System
Excellent quality verification system through in-house reliability equipment
The integrating sphere positions the light source at the center and measures luminous flux, luminous efficacy, and spectral characteristics of the emitted light. By comparing the output of the standard light source and the test luminaire, the system immediately verifies and analyzes the stability and performance of the lighting fixture in real time.
The goniophotometer rotates the light source or luminaire around its optical axis, and measures luminous intensity distribution and photometric characteristics using sensors that detect reflected light. It supports evaluation of the luminaire’s optical stability in accordance with CIE and IESNA LM79 standards and can simulate real-world installation angles through Burning Position settings. Additionally, the system automatically adjusts measurement intervals for precise testing, and meets the measurement requirements specified by NEMA classifications.
Among the core technologies of LED lighting products, thermal management plays a crucial role not only in brightness but also in product lifespan. Traditional heat-sink structures commonly used in lighting increase overall product weight, which has long been a limitation in LED lighting design. GigaTera has overcome this challenge with its innovative PTX™ (Plate Thermal eXchanger) technology. PTX™ enables ultrahigh brightness performance and exceptional thermal efficiency while maintaining structural stability, resulting in long-life, high-reliability products.

GigaTera® Precision Optical Design
GigaTera® lighting systems are engineered with precision optical design to minimize uplight and maximize efficiency. Even when compared with lighting systems that have similar rated luminous efficacy, GigaTera demonstrates superior uniformity and higher illuminance performance in real-world simulation environments.
An inner visor refers to a visor installed inside the luminaire rather than externally. External visors increase fixture weight, wind load, and can disrupt fixture appearance and design, especially in stadium or large‐scale outdoor installations where structural load and aesthetics are critical.
GigaTera’s stadium lighting uses internal visors that effectively block spill light and glare from inside the fixture, increasing useful light output to the intended target area while reducing unwanted light spill.
20–30% reduction in upward light spill and glare compared to fixtures using external visors
· Minimizes glare and light spill
· Rugged, one‐piece integrated design protects lenses from environmental damage
· Eliminates the need for external visors → reducing weight and wind load
· No additional cleaning or maintenance work required due to enclosed structure
· Superior internal design ensures excellent durability and optical stability
· Precise beam control that blocks unnecessary light spill and improves uniformity

External Visor GigaTera® Inner Visor
If spill light is not properly controlled, unwanted light spreads into surrounding residential or public areas, causing light pollution and discomfort. With GigaTera’s internal visor technology, spill light is effectively blocked, increasing useful lumens on the target surface and reducing wasted light. Many lighting manufacturers calculate efficiency including spill light; however, what truly matters is how much useful light reaches the field. In real-world stadium performance, GigaTera’s inner visor design delivers superior uniformity and higher illuminance compared to fixtures marketed with high luminous efficiency but external visor structures.

Indirect Reflection & Thermal Optimization
The high-bay SEGA series and roadway META/SETA series deliver brighter, more uniform light with minimal glare, transforming environments with improved visibility and safety. Through indirect reflection optical design, light is evenly distributed across the space without direct glare, enhancing comfort and clarity. Separately structured vertical LED modules maximize light output while minimizing direct eye exposure. Additionally, vertical cooling fins and optimized airflow paths efficiently dissipate heat and prevent dust buildup, ensuring long-term reliability and stable performance even during extended operation. Smart wireless control enables easy maintenance management, while high luminous efficiency and low power consumption provide excellent long-term cost savings.
GigaTera® high-bay luminaires utilize a vertically-oriented fin structure designed for efficient natural convection cooling. Unlike forced-air cooling designs, this passive thermal structure maximizes airflow and dissipates heat effectively without added mechanical components, overcoming thermal limitations common in high-power LED luminaires. Efficient thermal management is directly linked to product lifespan and reliability, making advanced heat-dissipation engineering a key core technology in GigaTera® products.
Even with high luminous efficacy, lighting is ineffective if light does not accurately reach the target area. When light spreads outside the intended zone, visibility decreases and spill light issues arise. GigaTera’s optical system incorporates a Multi-Layered Inner Visor (MLV™) inside the luminaire, delivering precise light control that directs light exactly to the intended location. This results in consistent illumination quality and comfortable visibility for players, spectators, and broadcast cameras.
➀ Targeted Illumination: Light only where it’s needed, reducing glare and keeping the field comfortable for players and spectators
➁ Game-Optimized Lighting: Custom light distribution for every sport, maximizing focus and immersion
➂ Energy Smart: Minimize wasted light, boost efficiency, and cut operational costs
