About us WOODCHUCK USA is an innovative wood products manufacturer based in Minneapolis, Minnesota. It was founded in 2012 by Ben VandenWymelenberg, after breaking his phone and applying a wood sticker to hold it together. This idea that began with phone cases expanded into the thousands of products that are used for corporate and consumer gifting today.

WOODCHUCK USA was founded with a simple mission: “Bring nature back to people, jobs back to America, and quality back to products.” At WOODCHUCK, we strive to support businesses and stores in providing their employees and customers with a memorable gifting experience every time they purchase a WOODCHUCK USA product.

The ‘BUY ONE. PLANT ONE.®’ program is an essential part of the WOODCHUCK USA brand. Since it began in 2016, WOODCHUCK USA has planted a tree for every product sold. In addition to supporting reforestation, these plant sites support communities with jobs and educational programming. WOODCHUCK USA has planted on six continents and traveled to Antarctica to support environmental responsibility with global thought leaders. The ‘BUY ONE. PLANT ONE.®’ program is much more than a marketing campaign. It is a group of businesses, adventurers, and outdoor lovers that seek to share their values with individuals all over the world.

As a means to share the ‘BUY ONE. PLANT ONE.®’ story, and connect our planting community with the plant sites, we have developed custom codes that correspond with each tree planted. These codes are provided with each product sold, which allows customers to log onto the WOODCHUCK USA website and locate their tree.

Cork is our newest, most sustainable, and softest material.

It comes from the Cork Oak Tree, Quercus suber, which is harvested by highly skilled agriculturists who strip the bark from the tree. This results in no harm to the tree itself.

The bark regenerates and the harvesting process can be repeated every 9 years. This process can be completed up to 20 times. The bark grows back smoother after each harvest.

Cork can be engraved with your favorite designs and artwork similar to our other products.
